Situated at the foothills of Mt.Roland, with The Great Western Tiers in the background, is this gorgeous three bedroom family home, ready to welcome you to enjoy these glorious aspects. As you drive down the internal driveway, you're torn between admiring the mountain view in the background or the Japanese inspired garden in the foreground. Spoilt for choice is an understatement!

Upon entering the home you'll instantly feel relaxed & welcomed. There are three bedrooms with queen beds. The master offers a walk in robe & ensuite with underfloor heating. The main bathroom also features underfloor heating and a luxurious spa bath. Two large living areas, ideal for families, allow for the kids to have one area, whilst the adults can have their own. And if you need still more space, there is a dedicated study/reading room to get away from it all! The very large open plan kitchen & dining area open onto the undercover outdoor entertainment area. Complete with outdoor setting & gas bbq, as well as in-wall Bluetooth speakers which are installed in both living areas as well as the outer entertainment area for creating a perfect ambience for your relaxation.

The kitchen offers all that you could possibly need to whip up some gourmet delights from local producers. You'll thoroughly enjoy meandering through the gardens of this home, whilst sipping on a Tasmanian beer, wine or cider.

So much promise…a substantial property, unfortunately falling short of expectation. Garden at a time past would have been wonderful, not so now. Heating in the kitchen family room needs attention.

a short getaway stay
The house is big, spacious and comfortable. The BBQ was extremely dirty which often is the case in many short term accommodation's, BUT we expected better due to the conditions of stay being so specific. The BBQ was one item that needed to be clean and left in great condition on vacating to not receive additional monetary penalties. We notified the agent and was told the cleaner had said it was clean. We sent a video to show this was not the case so as not to be held responsible. The agent apologized and refunded some money to cover the inconvenience which we did appreciate from the agent. The security code to enter the house was incorrect or not re-set and so we did have to go through quite the rig morale to get into the house after check in time but again the property manager was available and got this sorted relatively quickly. Nice place but with a few issues

Awesome property
Three night stay was lovely, beds comfortable and plenty of room for extended family. Garden and ground are excellent. The house itself could do with a cobweb broom whipping around and sprayed for the nasty bugs. Bathrooms and beds clean but otherwise a slightly grubby feel. Lovely location, walking distance to the town centre with the outlook of the property still feeling like your miles away.

Large clean house, delightful huge garden with rabbits hopping around. We loved the serenity of the Japanese Garden and the changing view of Mt Roland. Would highly recommend.

Lovely house
Beautiful large house set in a gorgeous garden setting. Set back from road so very quiet. Stunning mountain views from kitchen and dining, very relaxing and I’d stay longer if I could. Bed is comfortable and overall 5 star Tassie accomodation.
