With miles of black sand beaches, striking coastal bluffs, and lush forests, it's a haven for nature lovers. You can explore Big Black Sands Beach, famous for its stunning, dark coastline and tide pools filled with fascinating marine life. For those who love to hike, the King Range National Conservation Area offers breathtaking trails that wind through coastal forests and provide panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Go fishing, kayaking, or whale-watching, or simply relax with a book and listen to the waves. For golfers, the Shelter Cove Golf Links is a unique, picturesque course that overlooks the ocean. A great place to get away!
We loved this place! We had the benefit of being the first renters and most everything seemed new. This was our first time seeing the Northern California coast and this place didn’t disappoint. We were just a short drive to restaurants and the general store and within walking distance to a breathtaking section of the coast. Come here to relax, eat good food, and watch some killer sunsets. Even our dog couldn’t help but unwind with some long naps!
