Birding on the Norfolk Coast
Sheringham is a great base for fantastic birding along the coast. 2 Museum Cottages is a lovely quiet place to stay, although in the town centre. This time of year the cottage is a bit dark, but would be more cheery in the summer. Although small, the cottage has everything you need for a great stay.

Thank you for a wonderful sta.

New Year 2022
Excellent location, in town centre but very quiet. Very well equipped, warm with comfy bed. Some people may find the steep stairs a problem. Good lighting . We would use it again when we return to Sheringham.

Fantastic Location
Apart from it slightly lacking in daylight it's a fabulous place to stay. Well equipped, very clean, fabulous location, parking easy enough to find and loads to explore in the area if it's too rainy for the beach.

Great little property in the centre of town
Very clean and well looked after property, with everything we needed for a short stay. Perfect location for Sheringham within walking distance of shops, transport, pubs and the beach.

Excellent base
Perfectly located for pottering around centre of sherringham and coast. Beautiful area with plenty to do. All necessary equipment in house to cook and shower etc. Good size bedroom. TV good and kitchen compact but has all ports and pans needed. Expect and understand that house is very small and compact and you will enjoy your stay. Also remember no outside seating area not a problem unless that's what you want. No onsite parking but several car parks within easy walking that offer 7 days parking for 28 pound. Cleaning a little haphazard but health warning not needed depends how fussy you are.

Great location
Great location in the centre of Sheringham set back behind the Main Street. Ideal for a long weekend but any longer would probably be a struggle as the property is quite small. I would have given 5 stars but for the fact there was quite a strong smell of dog, although it didn’t affect our stay.

Very poor not worth the money we paid
Adaptation to holiday home not thought through properly. shoddy work. Front door doesn't open properly so kept tripping up. Terrible bed and pillows. Not good layout overall. Will return to the area but not to the property. On top of this there was no parking available for the property and spent time looking for on street parking or would have to pay £28 to use local car park.

Perfect location, clean and comfy
Overall very good, clean, well eqipuipped, central yet quiet, Great for a short break, Only improvement could be a better table and chairs for eating at .. not comfy and a bit fragile, maybe a smaller sofa as only a property for two which would give space for a better eating option .. luckily we ate out most of the time but for breakfast, or when we had a takeaway, sorry but we don’t eat on our laps! Also think the tv needs a bit of attention, we don’t watch tv but like watching films of our choice, and could only get rubbish, it said something needed retuning ..

Very neat and tidy little cottage - could not fault the cleanliness.
Absolutely loved Sheringham, and the close proximity to the beach. The town is packed with character, to the Little Theatre, the Museum and so many quirky little shops. Travelling around the area too as so simple. Would have liked to have the facility to park our car a bit nearer to the house and we were not told about this until we arrived - but then we didn't ask! Will be back to Sheringham but will have a better idea of our ideal location next time.

quaint, quiet and cosy.
Tucked off the main street just a couple of hundred yards from the seafront, this tiny little hobbit like cottage was so well maintained and equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean and the area was secluded and quiet. Made a lovely place to explore the local area from.
