Nice Onsen hotel near Kyoto station
Very clean and new looking hotel. Modern Japanese traditional style decor with good onsen bath. Nice to enjoy a warm onsen bath after a day walking around. The hotel is about 10 to 15 mins walk from Kyoto station. From the station, do exit and walk towards the Kyoto Tower as it is quicker to reach the hotel. Many restaurants around with a mini mart just outside the hotel.

Well, the hotel, spa, and staff were all absolutely great. However, the throngs of entitled, ignorant, absolutely rude travel groups made things a bit unpleasant from time to time. Who brings a 5 year old to a spa? Be prepared for a very traditional Japanese experience, from no shoes in the building, to house clothes (that sort of made everyone look like cult members), and the spa. Overall, I really enjoyed the hotel but wanted to choke some of the travel group members.

The hotel had lovely onsen with free ramen, ice cream, tea, coffee, yoghurt for your duration of the stay. Our kids rate this as the best stay and experience with a lovely japanese buffet taste feast.

This was a really smart choice for our stay in Kyoto. It is an eight minute walk to Kyoto station, so very centralized for the day trip. We were taking across the city. The hotel itself is lovely and extremely clean. We took advantage of the free Matcha in the sitting area… We honestly had like 4 cups a day and it was absolutely delicious. We also used the Osen every day… We honestly bypassed showering in our room all together and exclusively used the Osen to wash our hair and body each day before going into the Hot Springs. Some people can walk, barefoot through the hotel, although I loved the Japanese socks they provided. When you first come into the hotel, you lock your shoes away a little cubby. We also took it advantage of the free Ramen at night, free popsicles during the day, and although , it was like musical chairs with the massage chairs, people were respectful and only took one turn and then allowed others to use the massage chairs. Also, I have a tattoo So before going into the Osen, I was able to go to the front desk and request a tattoo sticker. This worked perfectly! Also, the bus pick up is just a block away if you want to go to the old town/popular areas of the city for nightlife. Would highly recommend staying here.

Such a great property. We enjoyed the hot springs and the ramen at night. We loved the ice cream nightly too. The breakfast was very expansive and great food. The bed was too firm for us but the room was so quiet. Highly recommend.

Wasn't allowed to use the hotsprings along with my fiance, we had to be separated which is a joke. We were told we had to be NAKED which we are not comfortable with and no swim suits were allowed. Also we had tattoos and could not enter, this is discrimination.

Totally new experience in a setting right in the heart of Kyoto. The baths were very relaxing and allowed guests to enjoy quite and serene times during their stay. Food was also another totally Japanese experience plus other amenities.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The onsen experience was relaxing and the hotel was close (10min walk) to Kyoto station. We got daily room clean, it was clean. I had allergies to something inside the room… sneezing constantly.

Very traditional Japanese hotel. Hot springs in the hotel was a big bonus. Grocery store across the street wasvery convenient. Temple nearby was a plus. Visit Kyoto tower was a nice find for 900 yen.
