Blossom Kyoto was amazing!! Definitely recommend next time you visit. It is close to the Main Street and Nishiki market. We didn’t receive the VIP upgrade when we checked in, because the staff said it was fully booked. but when we told the staff the next day they said they had rooms available the day before and today. They immediately apologised for the other day and upgraded us.

Everything was wonderful ... except the noise. The hotel is on Gojo: one of Kyoto's busiest (and loudest) streets. And it is at a traffic light where motorcycle gangs rev their engines non-stop whilst waiting for the lights to change - and directly across the street is the fire department ! Yes, they changed rooms for me after he first night, but again steetside, just a few floors up (that did make a difference). EVERYTHING else is WONDERFUL - but make sure by all means that your room dies not face Gojo !!!

We had a wonderful stay at The Blossom! We came on our honeymoon and we couldn't have asked for a better place to welcome us to Japan and recover from jetlag. Would recommend the continental breakfast!
