This is an older property, but it was clean, and the staff was great. The breakfast was fine. It was very quiet during our stay.

not the best not the worst. we had an 8 hour power outage the first night we were there that wasnt fixed until almost 10 am. The elevators were kinda dodgy at best and they over booked the accessible rooms so i was moved to a standard room even though i had requested accessible due to disabilities. The staff were very nice and gave me a shower chair so i could still shower with some effort though so i commend the staff. we made due and it served its purpose but i likely will choose somewhere else next time around.

No Housekeeping
The hotel had a modern look, similar to photos but smells like water damage throughout the lobby and hallways. Wallpaper was pealing, and low lighting. I arrived late Wednesday night, notice the mirror lights were very dim, pulled back my shower curtain and wash clothes were left on top the rod from previous guest. I contacted the front desk and was told housekeeping would be coming to clean my room. No one ever came... Thursday, I had to ask for clean towels and put in a housekeeping request. Overnight to Friday morning there was a power outage for the entire hotel and street. When power came back on no more elevator for my entire stay. Housekeeping was on my floor #3, asked did I need towels, gave me towels, and said put your trash in these bags put in hallway and she would get it later. When i returned ti my room later that even housekeeping never cleaned my room and I had to ask front desk for more clean towel. I became very disturbed with the poor service, no room cleaning, and having to ask the people to do a service that I'm already paying for. So I checked out early and found another hotel to stay at for the remainder of my visit.

I reserved a Handicapped accessible room, when I checked in that is not what they had reserved, they did accommodate us with one though. I tried to call down to the front desk to see if they had a shower chair to use in the bathtub and the phone did not work in the room, I went down to the front desk and rang their desk bell and called out to see if someone was on duty, but no one was there. The handicap accessible room was on the 2nd floor, early the next morning there was a power failure (no fault to the Hotel) but I was unable to get my wife who is confined to a wheelchair down the stairs for a surgery appointment at the hospital. Shreveport Fire Department came to our aid. Cleanliness of the room, well there was a little trash under the sink and behind the toilet, the floor around the toilet was dirty, there was a open half gallon of milk, a open bottle of water and some food left in the refrigerator, also while my wife was lying in bed a cockroach ran up her arm. When I reserved our room through expedia the cost of the room was $94.99 and $14.30 tax total of $109.29 when I checked in they charged me $188.89 and said the additional was room tax, $79.60 ROOM TAX. I understand not everything wrong with our stay was the fault of the hotel chain, but the Handicap rooms should be on the 1st floor, the rooms could have been cleaner and someone should have been on duty at the desk. I will not recommend this Hotel to anyone.

The toilet was covered in urine when I arrived. After disinfecting, anytime you flush with the lid down it literally slashes all the way back up. The room was was more modern than I expected. You can only get ice on the 1st floor. Linen could’ve been cleaner didn’t give me vibes it was fresh linen.

"Hot box hotel"
The whole place wreaked of weed SO BAD! Like we couldn't even get away from it in our room. The elevators were like hot boxes. There wasn't any pressure in the shower, it was like a trickle. The milk was expired by 2 days at breakfast. The beds were not comfortable at all!! There was a mess on the floor of the elevator for the entire 2 days we were there, like chocolate milk spilled. The pool was closed, half the reason I chose that specific hotel. It was fairly clean and we had enough beds in our room for my whole family (2 adults and 3 kids) but that was about the only plus. (I tried to add pics but it wouldn't let me upload them.)

Beds and room were good! We enjoyed sitting outside but there was a bus stop or something because there were alot of foot traffic. The dollar store also had alotnof people sitting ouside trying to get your attention.
