Easy to get around hotel and to casino. The room is huge , only negative for older people is it has a huge tub that you have to get into for a shower.

It is an older but very well maintained hotel. The rooms are spacious and the river view was pretty. The staff was friendly and professional. Good slot variety and table games. The food was mediocre and pricey but you’re able to find cheaper non traditional Louisiana cuisine (burgers, pizza, ramen etc.) still is was nice to have everything under one roof. Overall good trip and would stay again.

Won’t go there again!
I would not recommend this hotel. The rooms have no microwave, no coffee, which I have found standard in most places that we’ve stayed. Too many things went wrong, too many unforeseen charges. The staff were very nice people, I can’t blame the staff for bad management decisions. I will not stay there again and I don’t recommend it. The Casino, is antiquated very few up to date machines, the table games are nice with very professional staffing.

The atmosphere of the hotel was a bit different from what I was expecting. Wish There wasn't the smell of smoke in the elevators. The hotel was very nice just a few were in poor taste. Our suite/room had no comforter on the bed. It seemed to have a bit too much seating. The toilet was a bit too low, thinking of someone who might visit having to go and can't get up.

The room was supposed to be non smoking but when we got there it was smoking. The TV didn't work properly and I called maintenance but they didn't fix it. The AC thermostat was a real old type that didn't show degrees on it. There was no where to eat after midnight and everything seemed to be either broken or not working.

Amazing food, rooms need cleaning
I don’t like that they don’t clean the rooms during your stay. The room was dusty and dirty when we arrived. However, the hotel has some amazing food.
