The HVAC was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The fee for our dogs was much more reasonable than other hotels.

The best about the property was the staff. We had two rooms. One room smelled of mildew and the bath tubs for both rooms need major repair. Also, the water has an unpleasant odor. I know that Shreveport is known for this and perhaps the pipes at this area haven't been replaced. For the price, it was ok but highly unlikely that I would return.

Nice hotel, very clean, large room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very friendly ladies at the front desk, checking in and out was a breeze. Is a pet friendly hotel, will take that into consideration next time, barking dogs woke us up but that’s not the hotels fault.

This was a one night stay on a longer trip. The staff was welcoming, the room was clean. Our bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was not special but was filling and accommodating.

The location wasn’t ideal. I was told that I’d be able to cancel after one day but had to go through Expedia to do so after being denied by La Quinta also didn’t like the bathroom door didn’t provide privacy.

The toilet although it appeared clean had mold under the rim of the bowl and there was mold around the shower bar where it connected to the tile wall. There was dust on the shelves where the towels were. The switch on the hair dryer was not working properly.

Somewhere I read that the rooms were recently remodeled, but i could'nt tell. For the most part, the room was clean, but dated. Shower looked really old. There was a white, crusty substance on bed skirt, and a pillow on my friend's bed was badly stained (brownish stain). Poor lighting in hallway and old, creaky elevator. Also, prepare to hear every toilet flush from rooms above and next to you. Breakfast service was better than most, and staff was really nice.

The 1st and 3rd floors I visited smelled like mold. The lobby, hallways, and my room smelled moldy. The staff that checked me in were great. Good breakfast. I’ll never stay again because of the mold. Also I felt unsafe in the area.

I enjoyed my stay at La Quinta. From the time we arrived until the time we checked out our stay was impeccable. The front desk clerk was friendly, the rooms were clean, the beds were firm and the handicap shower was right on point. I definitely recommend this hotel.
