Captivating 1-Bed Log Cabin in Shrewsbury

The Wendy House is a cosy log cabin located in a wonderful rural spot in North Shropshire only 4 miles from the historical town of Shrewsbury. The log cabin offers an ideal base for walkers with footpaths running across both Pim Hill and Harmer Hill on the door step. Some of the best views in the area can be seen from this location which is surrounded by fields and horses. The local pub is within walking distance and offers breakfasts, lunch and dinners for when you don't fancy cooking. This delightful quirky property is set in beautiful gardens offering stunning views of the Shropshire Hills and Wales. On a clear day you can see Snowdon.

Four legged, well behaved friends are welcome but please note that the owner has dogs of her own so friendly dogs only please.

The lovely living areas and private and scenic location make The Wendy House the perfect choice for a romantic get away. This beautifully refurbished rustic log cabin retains traditional character, but also offers a host of modern comforts, making it an ideal home away from home. Inside you will find a small kitchen with fridge, microwave, gas hob, toaster, dishwasher and halogen oven. On the ground floor there is a large shower room and toilet. In the lounge, overlooking the gardens, there is a bed settee, TV, small dining table and two chairs. The mezzanine is accessed by a fixed wooden ladder and contains a double bed with more stunning views. There is a washing machine for use on site and a drying line. There is unfortunately no disabled access to the Wendy House and the internet, due to the rural location can be slow. There is parking for one vehicle.

Staying here allows you access to the private garden which has a bbq and a chimenea with garden chairs and a bench. The garden is dog friendly - bring your poo bags - and safely enclosed. Old towels for paw drying are available on request.

Linen, towels and a hair dryer are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.
