Great stay

Overall our experience was good. There definitely wasn't enough cooking supplies or utensils for 4 of us. Found the kitchen lavking stuff. Beds comfy and house ckean overall.

Great place to stay. Views are fantastic. Had an owl sit right in front of the property for 2 hours! Hot tub great and the accommodation was good, the pillows were not great but everything else was. Very nice.

Peaceful Getaway
Very peaceful location. Home is bright and open with lots of windows. Great big deck is lovely to spend time on. Owner is very agreeable and gives access to Netflix/Prime for nighttime tv. Would have liked a bigger table outside but owner allowed us to take out the kitchen table. Recommend bringing your own pillows as the ones provided were hard/thick. Would also recommend bringing a throw blanket if you like that for evenings. Overall great stay and would go back.

Floor was not swept prior to our arrival as there was dog hair throughout the suite. We found a broom so to sweep it up. Disappointing. Deck and view are fantastic as is the updated kitchen.

Gorgeous view!
We loved our stay here! We visited Vancouver Island from the US to get away from the July 4 fireworks for our anxious pups and it was exactly what we needed. Only thing missing from the property which was on the listing was a hairdryer (unless I just couldn't find it, haha) but we very much enjoyed the serene location, especially the hot tub with the amazing view! Dan and his cute, fluffy dogs were great hosts.

Final three days of our stay on Vancouver Island
We (three adults and a dog) loved the fantastic view over the sea and islands which can be enjoyed from the property whatever the weather. After several days of extended walks it was really good to have a very nice place to relax. We also travelled to Victoria which is easily accessible by car. The host was very kind and we would be very happy to visit again.

My daughter was competing at an event at Elk Lake and flying in and out of Victoria International. Not only was the location perfect but the condo was spacious with a beautiful view. Quiet location.

Great place
We met up with family who biked here from the ferry. We arrived from Victoria ferry. Very well situated for us all. The place was bright and inviting. The beds, Murphy beds, were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom had a bidet which my husband used for the first time. We will be replacing ours soon with a bidet combo. Dan, the owner, was extremely nice and helpful. We enjoyed his company on a morning walk with the dogs. We highly recommend this VRBO! We would also stay here again.

We enjoyed this most beautiful and peaceful property. I spent a few hours gazing at the boat activity, including the bc ferries every hour. The birds and squirrel chatter was accented with the neighbour’s wind chimes. Daniel and his dogs were a delight.

Great view and location
The view and location were great, and the suite was spacious. The hot tub was good, but there was dog poop on the patio. If you are coming with 4, utensils were lacking, and only small pots and pans in the kitchen, so you may want to bring your favorites. The smoke detector is also very sensitive, so have the fan on high when cooking bacon! We did have an incident of an uninformed visit of the owner looking to access the Telus box while my in law was home alone, and would have preferred a phone call or notification prior to. Otherwise, good parking and great views!

Dan and Mar's property offers wonderful views of the Satellite Channel. The kitchen was well equipped and the hot tub offered convenient relaxation. The dog run was easy to access from the deck. The Stonehouse Pub and Fox & Monocle Cafe provided nearby dining options that are accessible from a neighborhood hiking trail. If we find ourselves on Vancouver Island again, we'd try to stay here again.

Mother daughter doggies get-away
My daughter & I were very pleased with our stay. Ocean views, hot tub and a fenced in dog run for our 2 pups to play. We did a few walks in the surrounding neighborhood and a few day trips…beautiful! Every box was ticked. Dan and Marlene were very nice and accommodating. The suite was well appointed. We had no issues whatsoever. Added bonus: the toilet seat is heated (so nice!) and the shower pressure was amazing!!! We would love to come back again some time.
