This hotel is in a good location and easy to walk from to explore. There’s a small park with a trampoline right beside it, which my 7 yr old son loved. We had a room for 4 people. It was dated, with a small, not very private bathroom. The room didn’t have the best air circulation or light, with small windows. When we went to check in there was no one at the front desk and it took a little time to find someone. The small hot tub for the property is nice, although to access it you have to either go through the restaurant or out the front door and around the building.

Very small rooms, no breakfast was included they wanted to charge 2500 isk per person and the breakfast was nothing to speak of! We only stayed one night even though we had two nights booked! Don't believe all the reviews! The only place we didn't like an
The town was great, and the vibe at the hotel was wonderful. Quiet, probably understaffed, but helpful. The room was old but plenty clean and was wonderful to find this sort of large family room in peak season.
Very small room, the bathroom is a design where the walls are glass which is not ideal as they are semi see through. The shower and toilet are also on the same level which cause water to go everywhere. Nice decor throughout but rooms are expensive for what they offer
I think of the 12 hotels we stayed; this was my favorite.
Freshly decorated suite; beautiful decor; bathroom had large shower; exquisite tile work just terrific craftsmanship.
Super Comfortable bed; easy parking. The restaurant was fantastic! Best Lamb Shank i had on the whole trip. My friend had the Artic Char also amazing. Beautiful decor through out. The weather sadly was quite dismal. Very heavy rain; and strong winds. Otherwise we would have loved to take advantage of the free bicycles they offer guest to use to tour the town. They also had a hot tub outside which was tempting. Terrific staff.
We stayed in a private room with private bathroom - worth it. Great touches and bathroom felt like a spa. Outdoor hot tub was a nice bonus and dinner was excellent and a lovely break from traditional Icelandic meals every day (even though we loved those, too). Walking distance to everything in town. Some of the service was a bit rude and favored their friends who were staying while we were there but overall would recommend.
Older property decorated with antiques. Lovely sitting areas. Coffee and tea available 24/7.

Our room was tiny and cramped. The bathroom was bigger than the sleeping area. We were put on the third floor, no elevator, and the clerk said I would have to lug my suitcase up the two flights of stairs myself. On the other hand, the Moroccan restaurant was fantastic and the best meal I have eaten in Iceland.
