LOUD, DIRTY, just bad!!!
From the pictures this looks like a nice clean place, but when you arrive its a different story! Extremely OVER priced for what it is. Limited parking, apparently this is place is where the mine workers stay, there trucks take up the whole parking lot. The rooms are extremely SMALL!!! I got what I thought was a larger room with a frig and microwave, but it was cramped the bathroom sink was in the doorway, there was NO closet to speak of, if you wanted to close the door in the shower/toilet room you practically had to stand in the shower to do it! It was dirty, the maid service never came to our room the 2 days we stayed there, we had to go ask for toilet tissue and towels. Now for the best part, the morning after the first night there, @5:30 A.M. the person in the room next to us starts blasting rap music that could be heard thru out the hall!!!! For 45 mins until he left for work I am assuming!! No one would answer the phone at the front desk, and beating on the wall telling him to turn it down did nothing!! So needless say our first visit to Silver City, will most likely be our last, would NOT recommend staying here!!!

The AC was noisy, we were not able to sleep. Shampoo and conditioner was a .75oz bottles that’s were not full. And even if they were , not enough.

Great staff, clean rooms
The staff here is amazingly friendly and helpful! We usually stay at higher end hotels, but the staff here outdid other hotels. The room was clean and they were on the ball with anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Very dirty room
I as shocked at the lack of cleanliness. My sister and I arrived late and we were exhausted. The first thing my sister saw on her bed was a dark red stain on the part of the sheet that was turned down= that never looks ok. The next thing was a dirty boot print on her pillow with the same dirty smears on the other side of it. It got worse in the bathroom. There was dried urine under the toilet seat and a film of dust in the bathtub. My sister cleaned and we went to bed. The next morning I reported it and the only thing she said was “Well why didn’t you ask for a different room.” She was the assistant manager too.

No refund for emergency situation?
I made the reservation with all intent to be there, however, I was in hospital having surgery, unexpectedly, and totally forgot about the reservation...until account was billed for the stay...The day I got home from hospital. I called them to refund since I had no control over the matter, for if I had I would have cancelled myself. Talked with Hotels.com customer service who called hotel and manager would not refund. I called hotel myself, asked to speak to the manager and was told she was just going into a meeting, no call back. This was a no-fault situation and should have been refunded, can't control emergency surgery

Fix the key problem, get 5 stars
When we booked our stay we read the reviews and they were mostly good but numerous people reported having their keys stop working. I thought it would great if that was my only complaint but low and behold, after getting in the room at breakfast, we get home from a long day out and about and our keys don’t work. Over our 5 day stay we had 8 keys. A small but large annoying “ feature”.

Nice enough. Key card did not work to get into hallway. Had to walk through lobby to get to room. The hallway a/c was incredibly loud so we had to turn it off at night to sleep. Breakfast was very minimal.
