Amazing hospitality
They went above and beyond- I asked for an airport pickup but they are 4 hours from Heraklion- so they offered to pick me up from bus station at Sitia instead. Little did I know that they were an hour return away from the bus station- and their bus broke down. Rather than have me wait they had a taxi greet me at the bus station to take me back- which would’ve cost them an absolute fortune. And they charged me nothing. I definitely advise that you have all your meals there at the restaurant- it is delicious quality authentic Greek and well priced and you can wash it down with their local premium beer too. Half a litre only 2.50 euro. I had a wonderful time there and can’t thank them enough or recommend them highly enough. Two thumbs up

Nous avons passé une nuit avant la randonnée de la vallée des morts. C'est un petit hôtel assez vieillot mais qui est tout à fait authentique. La propriétaire est très gentille et le petit déjeuner simple et bon. C'était très bien pour nous. Nous avons dîné dans un café à côté qui donne face à la place pour une somme dérisoire. Simple et authentique aussi.

Sämsta hotell av 20 års vistelse på Kreta
Fick ett rum som motsvarade beskrivningen i bokningen. Efter en stund ville de att jag skulle byta till ett mindre sämre rum utan möblerad balkong och i stort behov av renovering. När jag vägrade ringde man ägaren som lovade komma dit efter en timme. När jag väntat 1,5 timmar och sonen till ägaren inte visste när han skulle komma fick jag nog. Jag meddelade att jag skulle leta efter ett annat hotell. Efteråt bad jag denna bokningssida om hjälp att få tillbaka förbetalad summa men ägaren nekade.

L'emplacement est très bien, il n'y a pas tant d'établissements d'un bon rapport dans ce secteur. Assez propre quoique vétuste. Un peu vieillot, mais pour le prix, on ne va pas faire les difficiles. Peut ne pas convenir à tout le monde. Le petit déjeuner est très bien et les propriétaires font leur possible pour rendre service. Au coeur de la Crête profonde (au petit déjeuner, on est aux premières loges pour observer les clients du café). Une expérience rustique mais faisable pour une nuit ou deux.
