Perfect for couple’s retreat, girlfriend’s weekend, lake-loving families, or Clemson Tiger fans, this Knotty Pine Haven has everything you need for a relaxed lakefront getaway conveniently located in the premier mid-section of Lake Keowee, and only 9 miles from Clemson University!

From the chalet, you are within a short driving distance from the most gorgeous hiking/biking State park trails in the nearby Blue Ridge Mountains, including the epic Stumphouse Mtn Bike Park and Issaqueena Fall’s. Drive to Seneca or Clemson for great shopping, restaurants, and several breweries.

Entering the Knotty Pine Haven, you’ll discover a quaint space lovingly decorated to create a sense of presence and calm. The chalet has 180 degrees view of the lake from its upper deck, where you can enjoy breakfast or chill with your friends in the afternoon while watching the sunset. The lower deck is fully covered and offers you an outdoor option even when it rains! It also has a covered gas grill and an 8’ long bar-top installed on the deck rail so you can enjoy the lake view while sipping your favorite beverage and chatting with your friends! From it, just go down the steps and be on the boardwalk that surrounds the lake’s edge!

Inside, you will find all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable and fun!

The interior of the chalet offers three levels of living.
Open to the living and dining room is the loft. Choose to sleep in one of the two beds (one king size and one full-size bed with cooling gel toppers and dreamy comforters) and you will be rewarded with waking up to the most gorgeous view of the lake through the bank of windows that grace the lakefront (in the morning, it looks like a mirror!). The loft sleeps up to 4 people and has a full bath.

The main level boasts an open floor living and dining room with great views and soaring ceilings! The dining room table comfortably sits 8 people, and the kitchen is fully equipped with all the cooking utensils you may need, including pots, pans, baking pans, crockpot, serving dishes, toaster, and a coffee bar! Also on the main level you will find a private bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a full bath.

Aside from the amazing views and proximity from the water, the BEST FEATURE of this chalet is its lower-level GAME ROOM! It is a large space furnished with a pool table, a 86” smart TV that guests can log in to their accounts for entertainment or take advantage of the satellite dish (Direct TV) service, and a very roomy couch to give you the best game-watching experience!

The lower level also has a full laundry with washer and dryer, a half bath, and a private bedroom with a brand new Tempur-Pedic mattress that will make you not want to leave the bed in the morning!

Because we care about your sleeping experience, we also provide an assortment of soft, medium, hard, and extra-tall pillows for your ultimate comfort, and light, fluffy comforters!

BOAT SLIP OPTION:
You may use any of our community’s boardwalks and docks to fish or swim from. In addition, we offer you the option of renting a boat slip during your stay for only $100. Please message us to check for slip availability PRIOR to booking if that is important to you. We are happy to help you with contacts for half day or full day boat or jet ski rentals very close by. If you wish to bring your own boat and not rent our slip, we are only 5 minutes from an easy deep water concrete public boat launch, WarPath Landing. You can pull your boat in/out completely free and store your boat on its trailer at night for free in our locked community boat lot.

- This home allows a maximum of 8 guests
- A welcome book is provided upon arrival to include everything you need to know during your stay, suggested activities and a list of restaurants and bars.
- The chalet’s loft is open to the main living area and although it does not receive direct sunlight, it will be light in the morning. If you are a light sleeper and love to sleep in complete darkness, please bring eye masks or chose to sleep in the other two private rooms.
- Free wi-fi and satellite dish. We provide AT&T high Speed internet and Direct TV. These are the only services provided in our area. In the event they stop working, we ask that you contact us and we'll check with said companies to find out the reason and restore service. However, if because of weather or other unforeseen circumstance, the service remains unavailable for a while, please understand that it is completely out of our control - just like it would be outside your control if that happened in your own home.
- No smoking
- No events, parties, or large gatherings
- Small pet friendly with $250 per stay (per day) pet fee. Pets MUST BE PRE-APPROVED
- Must be at least 30 years old to book
- The chalet requires stairs and may be difficult for guests with limited mobility
- The chalet is NOT small children-proof
- Linens/towels (to be used indoors only – NOT for the beach/boat/pets)
- 2 parking spaces plus visitor parking (Please read below)
- QUIET TIME 11PM-8AM (Please read below).
- A copy of a government issued ID will be required of the booking guest along with signing an additional private rental contract acknowledging the short-term rental guidelines and rules.

NO NOISE RULES:
Our community is lovely and most people there are super friendly and happy to be in ‘vacation mode’! However, we MUST be respectful of the other owners as the chalets are all close to each other. Please know that our HOA has recently implemented fines for loud noises outside after 11pm. Therefore, if you plan to have a party or wish to be loud after 11pm then this is not the right rental for you.

PARKING:
This close lake community of 30 chalets shares 2 large parking lots. We have 2 deeded parking spots that come with the rental and there is visitor parking as well. Please know, the parking is not directly in front of the chalet. You are welcome to drive up to the chalet to load and unload your belongings, but please do not linger there as to not block other chalet users from doing the same. Per HOA rules, cars parked outside the designated parking spots will be fined and towed at the owner’s expense. The walk from the parking lot to the chalet is similar to parking in the middle of the Target parking lot and walking into the store. It is not a long or strenuous walk, but there are some stairs so if mobility is an issue this may not be the best rental option for you.

NO FIREWORKS RULE:
There are no fireworks allowed at any time within our gated community…this includes off any of the docks.

DISCLAMER:
We reserve the right to immediately cancel any guest stay without refund if any of the short term rental rules are violated.
Also, there are two security cameras outdoors (one by the main door, and one on the corner of the lower deck, facing the stairs that lead to the boardwalk). Tampering with the outdoor cameras will be considered a violation of the terms of the rental agreement. We also keep a camera inside the living that is used ONLY when the chalet is empty. It sits on the upper left window sill. The wall plug is identified by a sign on the wall (below dining room mirror) and, although it is TURNED OFF on our end during guests's stay , to fully respect your privacy, we encourage you to UNPLUG IT from the wall upon arrival. We’ll remind you of that before the beginning of your stay.

We loved Sabina’s chalet on Lake Keowee! Perfect getaway with family & friends. Sabina was very accommodating & responsive. Chalet was immaculate and tastefully decorated. Would stay there again!

Very clean and organized. Very well kept and cared for property. It is obvious the owners care and want to maintain their property at a very high level. They were also very informative with recommendations. Great overall experience. Great location and close to much. We were traveling long distance and therefore did not have our boat which would have been great to put at the slip they had available just a 30 second walk away. Would stay again for sure.

Great location on the lake
We stayed at Sabina's home on Lake Keowee for a week. It was my husband and 3 teen and preteen boys. Great location and home. We enjoyed having access to a dock. The boys loved swimming in the lake there. The house is very inviting and has a great feel to it. Plenty of spots to hang out and great view of the water from the upper deck. House is equipped with everything you need. We also all enjoyed the pool table. My only complaint is the lack of towels. The listing is explicit that towel for swimming etc are not provided but there was only one bath towel per person. So definitely bring additional towels, There is a washer/dryer so that was helpful to have. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the home was great for our family.

Magnificent! This Chalet is gorgeous! The location is perfect nestled back into a quiet cove with spectacular views or sunrise and sunsets. This was the perfect spot to take my family. We immediately booked it again to come back for another stay. I would drive past every property on Keowee just to get to this one. Our host Sabina was so helpful getting us settled in for our stay and made us feel right at home. The chalet has a spacious warm romantic atmosphere with all the amenities. A view that takes your breath away. Just a wow factor on everything. Excellent host! Perfect family vacation spot or a romantic getaway, this place has it all. We can’t wait to go back.

Great Waterfront Quiet Getaway
Great property to show up and relax. No fuss for getting in, no problem with checkin and the host was amazingly helpful. We rented a dock and brought our boat over so it was close. The three bedrooms offered plenty of private space. The location on Lake Keowee is perfect. You can get to all the fun locations in 15 min or less, both on the water or drive. We will be back!

A true cabin on the lake feel that you are looking for. Excellent game room for people to be able to shoot pool and play other family games in. The views were amazing of the lake front and are exactly as pictured in the photos. At home we actually will put up YouTube channels of “Lakefront chalet ambience” and this house absolutely measures up to those relaxing ambience videos on YouTube! Highly recommend!

Great Option
We had a group in town for a Clemson game. The chalet was a great location on the water. Short 20 minute drive to Clemson. Perfect layout for our group and had all of the amenities we needed. Would love to stay here again on our next trip to Clemson.

The home was beautiful, and in a great location. It was very clean and well stocked. The views of the lake were spectacular! We really enjoyed our stay. The ease of communication with the owner must be noted. One suggestion: The gate/call box location was slightly hidden between bushes (hard to spot), so I’d include a picture or correspondence to make finding it easy.

Quick getaway
We enjoyed our stay on the lake. It was close to downtown 6 mile for groceries and cute restaurants! We loved enjoying coffee and evening cocktails on the deck, while watching boats on the water. The downstairs was nice for kicking back, watching tv or playing pool. We definitely will be back, next time we are in visiting friends!

Great Lake house!
Great location with amazing views of the lake. Beautiful patios for relaxing and grilling. Bedrooms were all comfortable with plenty of room for everyone.
