Okay but needs updates
My room was comfortable and clean but the bathroom left much to be desired. 1 bottle of hand wash was provided only. No soap. No complimentary toiletries. No tissues. The shower sprayed water all over floor so it was wet most days. No bottled drinking water provided and no hotel shop to purchase any.

Beautiful building with gorgeous outlook. Breakfast fabulous, rooms comfortable and pleasant except the windows All misted up on the inside. Made thrm look filthy 😒. Staff helpful and polite

The room was very basic but clean, the bed was super comfortable, had an excellent nights sleep. The hotel is in a great location where you can access the canal side and have an easy 30 minute walk to Skipton. The spa facilities were shabby, jacuzzi not in use, steam room with little steam and pool area very tired looking.

The property location is very picturesque. 20 mins walk to the town using the pathway along the canal. The dining restaurant has awesome views. The only downside was the pool had too much chlorine. Otherwise the facilities were excellent.

The hotel needs a refurb. The room we were in 304 is very dated but clean and has wonderful views. We ate in the restaurant the dinner wasn’t that warm. The breakfast was ok but the staff didn’t seem very organised. There were breakfast dishes on every table when we left at 9.30 am

Awful from the very first moment. The manger at the front desk was unwelcoming and rude. The hotel is beyond dated and the room is horrific. The ‘spa’ was disgusting, I presume it has gone untouched since around 1983. Avoid the hotel, it is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in

Would never hesitate about staying at this hotel. Everything was great. Staff friendly and efficient. Bathroom clean and well appointed. Meals delicious but menu a bit limited and the same every day.

The staff on reception and in the pool area were very friendly and helpful. We were able to arrange a later check out to give us a bit of flexibility which was great as I was travelling g alone with my two teenagers. Very pleasant and easy stay.
