The space:
Friends & Family will enjoy the large open-concept living area with beautiful wood finishes, premium appliances, luxury furniture, and a cozy gas fireplace perfect for warming you up for a great movie! Catch beautiful views year-round through the large portrait windows or out on your private deck with instant shade courtesy of an automatic awning! Roast some marshmallows, tell stories, and catch a shooting star by your private firepit (bring lawn chairs). Make some memories over a game of playing darts, poker, chess, or cornhole in the seasonal picnic shelter. Relax the day away catching walleye, crappie, and perch just steps away off the dock, dike, or get out and explore with boat rentals available at the neighboring marina!

Grab essentials or a couple of mementos on-site at the Camp Store or Walk just off the property to grab a drink, catch a concert, and play some cornhole or volleyball at Pelican Cove and Key Largo!

You will find a fun water park called Slaytona Beach just minutes away in Slayton!

Provided: Coffee, oil, basic seasonings, all paper supplies, linens, soaps, shampoo, etc. Propane, (firewood available), outdoor games like bean bags, volleyball, basketball, kickball, frisbee, and all sorts of other fun for the kids (or adults)!

Outdoor grilling with an infrared grill will cook up the best dinner you've ever made! Large Kitchen stocked with all the basics! Indoor cooking includes a high-end gas stove, Air-fryer/toaster oven, crockpot, mixer, microwave, blender, knife set, pots and pans, silverware, cups, plates, serving utensils, electric can opener, and coffee maker. The full-size kitchen refrigerator leaves you with plenty of room for leftovers, beverages, and ingredients for the next day's meal!

Looking for something to do? Take a cooking vacation at Painted Prairie Vineyard (fun), Pick apples or pumpkins at Stonegate Orchard, land/water access restaurant Pelican Cove (bar food/concerts), land/water access restaurant Key Largo (bar food/concerts), Breezy Barn (bar food), Pizza Ranch (family buffet), Subway (Quick Bite), or Clyde’s in Tracy for the best pizza around! – You won't be disappointed!

Summer: Campfires, Events, Concerts, Yard Games, Watersports, Great Fishing (inquire with the marina about boat rentals).

Winter: Get cozy around the fire, sip some cocoa, and take in the sheer beauty of the crisp fallen snow in your private winter wonderland! Pack some gear and get on the ice for a great day of ice fishing with lake access steps away and a warm bed waiting for you when you return!

We may need access to the cabin in the event of unusual maintenance but you would be present or give permission unless it was an emergency.
Guest access
You will have direct access to the property and a double-stall garage to park in to make getting in and relaxing after a long car ride a breeze! Just walk right up to the front entryway and grab the key to unlock paradise!

The seasons here:

Winter – Cozy getaways, family events, winter sightseeing, ice fishing, ice skating, snowmobiling, hiking, snowball fights, and fort-building.

Spring – Great Fishing, Wildlife Viewing, and Hiking at the State Park. Birding in the Spring is Quite Popular. Fishing Opening weekend is in May and the first four to six weeks of fishing are some of the best (maybe a tie with the fall).

Summer- Swimming, Campfires, Events, Concerts, Yard Games, Watersports, Fishing, and Hiking at the State Park to see the amazing color & blooms of life.

Fall – Fishing is Amazing, Wildlife is Active, Hiking Weather is Perfect. Sightsee the falling leaves throughout the property or at the State Park and watch for all of the beautiful birds!

Shetek State Park has a large trail system with many historical markers. Beautiful natural settings.

Rules / Policies:
Two-Finger Rule: If it doesn't open with two fingers, it doesn't open.

No Illegal Substances: No illegal substances are allowed on the property.

Don't Move Furniture: Please do not rearrange any of the furniture.

No Smoking Allowed: No smoking is allowed on the property.

Clean Up After Yourself: Please clean and put items away after use.

No Unregistered Guests: Only registered guests are allowed to occupy the property overnight.

Day (Event) Guests: You can have up to 5 additional guests visit during the day. For more than 5 guests, a $10 day guest fee applies per guest.

Pet Policy: Pets must be on the booking (pet fee/pet/stay), kenneled in the house (2 kennels provided), and can be unkenneled in the garage, mudroom, or fenced area when attended. Pets must be on a leash during walks, and all waste must be picked up (waste station by the park).
