The hotel itself was very nice with lovely rooms and very helpful staff. However the outdoor pool is across a busy road and open to general public. The pool is also extremely busy which meant we hardly used it. The rooftop bar (Cielo Lounge) is amazing with great views. We also ate at their barbecue one evening where they had a live saxophone player. There are ample places to eat near the hotel within walking distance or you can Uber to town and eat there. Very close to €2 ferry to Valletta.

Lovely hotel. More variety on alternate days for the breakfast rather than just changing the same items with different flavours. The theme nights, the food was very average, better to eat outside the hotel. The indoor pool isn’t heated, although great to have complimentary passes to the Aqua Luna across the road to the Hotel

The one to beat in Malta
The Waterfront is one of those rare hotels where everyone who works there does everything in their powers to ensure you have the best stay It’s located on the seafront enjoys beautiful sweeping views of the bay and Valletta opposite. The food is fantastic. One of the restaurants is on the 11th floor giving you the bonus of amazing views. If you want to get a tan, guests have free access to a private Lido/club with beds, pool, bar, food etc. Getting to beautiful Valletta is easy as are boat trips to Comino, Gozo and other nearby islands.The hotel even has a spa I travel a lot and would really recommend this little gem.

Excellent hotel right on the front of Sliema. Staff were amazingly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Checking in and out a breeze. Breakfast very good. Had BBQ evening on 10th floor with unlimited wine which was great. Clean rooms and floors even had a cold water dispenser. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Malta

Lovely seafront hotel
Beautiful hotel right on the seafront in Sliema. Convenient location, huge rooms and breakfast was sumptuous, with a great choice available and very tasty. Staff were kind, helpful and efficient and the property was immaculate. I liked the idea of the lights on the showers to tell you how much water is being used, they are taking steps towards being eco friendly. Go to the bistro opposite next to the pool- delicious ♥️

The hotel was clean and the room was nice. The pool access was actually a public lido that was always very busy and expensive, where we were stopped for bringing in our own water when it was 38'c. Not great.

It would have been excellent if it had an outdoor pool. We thought it had from the photos but it does not. We were given free tickets to the pictured outdoor pool opposite which was also open to locals and other hotels. A bit like playing sardines to even fit in the pool standing up. Not brillantly clean either. Never seen so many people in one pool. Other than that the Waterfront was fabulous.

Great location near Sliema waterfront promenade, ferries, shops & restaurants. Not much noise considering busy street below, no loud bars or nightclubs nearby. Friendly helpful staff. Recommend this hotel.

Great experience
The property was century located in Salima. Great access walk about 10 minutes to The different ferries that will take you to Valletta. Room was spacious balcony was decent size with a stunning view. Bathroom was massive. Overall experience was 10 out of 10.

We had a wonderful stay, polite and courteous staff. Excellent customer service. Beautiful rooms with great housekeeping. Delicious breakfast, great choice of food. The only unfortunate problem was the broken lift, which caused alot of delays getting about the hotel and getting our cases back down to the ground floor. Many thanks.

Lovely Hotel
I highly recommend The Waterfront Hotel. 4-star hotel offering stunning views across to Valletta, comfortable rooms and excellent amenities. The hotel has both an indoor pool and spa as well as an outdoor pool (Aqualuna) across the road along with multiple dining options. Its central location provides easy access to shopping, dining, and the different ferries allowing easy access to other areas of Malta. Perfect for both leisure and business travelers, The Waterfront ensures a comfortable and memorable stay.
