The room and breakfast was great. The staff was very kind and helpful. We loved the more local feel of the neighborhood and it was a short walk to the train station. The hotel is about 30 min by train to the Amsterdam city center.

3 nights taste of Amsterdam
The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood with metro station 5 mins away, a big supermarket and local shops and eatery mins away...👌👌👌 We didn't know we booked a no window room. At check in, we were so surprised and happy they gave us an upgrade to a room with window...👍👍👍 Great service right from the beginning from front desk, especially Abdul...👍👍👍 The cleaning staffs were super helpful n friendly. Dinner at the restaurant was cozy, service was excellent, foods were also very good...👍👍👍 We will stay here again...👌👌👌

Overall the property was very nice. It was very inconvenient that they took away the rugs from the room after 1 night. They gave us unusable garbage slippers as a consolation for the inconvenience. Some nearby construction made it more difficult to reach public transit. The nearby bakery and grocery store were excellent for grabbing a decently priced snack or drink.

Our stay at the Met Hotel was very comfortable. Our rooms and the bar/restaurant areas are very smart and clean. What really made it extra enjoyable was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They were always pleasant, happy to help in any way that they could, so we felt well looked after. Special recognition to the chef who made us an off-menu meal when we appeared just as he was about to close the kitchen! We would highly recommend this hotel for it's handy location too - very near bus and tram links, but also in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. 15 minutes by tram into the centre of Amsterdam.

Recomend. Great hotel for the price. Honestly not one complaint from our stay. Would definitely stay again. The only negative I would have is the location. Tram line a 9 minute walk from hotel tho so not as big an issue

The hotel I couldn't fully decide if we made the right decision or not. It's a very clean tidy, future new age element industrial look to it. Menus drinks, products and soaps in the room and everything is aimed at a woke audience of vegans. There are meat options on the menu, but these are 3 options only, like a reverse of being a vegetarian in the 90s. The hotel is located in an area which reminds me a little of Asian community near where I live, although it looks run down and less affluent they all were pleasent, I had no trouble at all for the few times I walked around and near the hotel, even late at night, but you wouldt be takingbholifay photos of serrounding streets to the hotel, must say inside was totally the opposite, so clean tidy. The tram and buses are close by 25 minutes walk/ tram to the centre of Amsterdam, which in areas was nice and some areas rubbish on the floors, but local council were tidying this up, the homeless tip the bins upside down all around the red light area and surrounding areas. Still had a great time. Would prob pay the extra and stay in the centre of Amsterdam next time but have no issues with the hotel itself.

New, modern hotel with excellent facilities. Loved the cool vibe of the foyer, reception and restaurant. Staff were keen to provide advice on transport as the hotel is 6 kms from the centre of Amsterdam. Great car parking too. For us we might have preferred being closer to the city but the transport options were good, easily accessible. Local supermarkets and fast food added to our food options.
