Beautiful Property!
My family and I enjoyed this beautiful property for the winter season! The home was clean, warm, and spacious. We especially loved the projector and the jacuzzi! Also, the property managers were very quick to respond to our needs, thank you. I highly Recommend staying in this home! 10/10

No heat, no communication
Main problem was the wood pellet stove ran out of fuel the second night, and I called Vacasa to get more. They said they'd send someone over first thing in the morning and never did. When it's below freezing, that's a problem. When I first booked the place I messaged Vacasa asking if there's freeway noise and they never responded (there is, it's not bad, but there's also train noise which is louder). Before the heat turned off, I booked late checkout (2pm), but they changed the door code at (presumably) 10am, so when we got back to the house at 1pm I had to climb to the 2nd floor balcony to get into the cold house to get our stuff. There's some stray wood pellets from the stove on the floor, chipped tiles, broken window blinds in the kitchen, but the house itself is functional (aside from the heat). Looks as it did in the 70s probably. Near Sugar Bowl & nearby hiking, but without heat and needing to climb in when the door code changes before your rental is up, you need to stay somewhere else.

Good times in Soda Springs
Everything was great but did have issues with electrical. I’m sure that’ll be taken care of soon. I would definitely stay again. Perfect location and nice cozy cabin for the wife and I.

Nice cabin
This cabin was a nice location for our experience. We were not planning on staying all day, mainly just a place to sleep with our toddler and dog. But we also wanted to feel comfortable in the cabin. We felt that the cleanliness was lacking. As there were many cobwebs and we had to kill about 10-12 large spiders throughout our 2 night stay. There was also dog hair all over the comforters and we didn’t realize it until after my toddlers was laying all over them. My husband need to sweep off the back deck because it was really messy with leaves and other outdoor things. We did not feel comfortable sitting on the couch to relax also, it just looked like it could use some upgrading and there was dog hairs all over the pillows as well. Some good things about this location was that it was more affordable than others around this busy weekend that we stayed. The spa was so nice and so fun for our little family. The bathroom was really clean and looked like they really take care of it which was nice. They had all the main things you would need in a kitchen there, so that was nice too! But there was three spiders in there when we got there. Overall, we won’t be staying again, but I guess that was part of the adventure

Perfect cabin for a quick getaway
This cabin was just right for a quick getaway with our two dogs. We usually stay in Truckee but wanted to try the Soda Springs area. The cabin had everything we needed (plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, bathroom toiletries, etc). The beds and bedding were very comfortable, which was a great surprise as sometimes rentals skimp or have older uncomfortable beds. It was a little colder than we expected so we were glad for the heaters in the bedrooms and bathroom - they worked perfectly. The backyard hot tub was a great way to cap off the day.

Near great outdoor adventures but not very clean.
We had some issues with cleanliness---very dirty dishes and silverware, and the hot tub was dirty as well. There was something brown and crusty on the bedspread which is extra unacceptable because it showed a lack of basic cleaning as well as not taking Covid precautions seriously. The hosts were responsive and had someone clean the tub on our 2nd day there, however they also promised us a partial refund for the issues with cleanliness but they never responded after check out.

Mountain Haven
This is a lovely property, easy to find, and very close to the main road. The kitchen was well stocked, with all the essentials, and lots of spices and condiments. There is an excellent gas grill, which the listing fails to mention, to me this is a plus, as is the movie screen style projection tv. Please note this property is at high altitude (about 8,000 feet), so it takes some getting used to. Great place for a small family or romantic couple (like us).

Amazing mountain get away
It was absolutely a amazing experience. From the pellet stove to the amazing hot tub. This experience will stay with me for ever. I truly recommend this to anyone looking to stay close to Tahoe yet just far enough away to enjoy solitude and quite. Neighbors houses are privately away from the hot tub. Over all perfect experience. They had everything we needed to make snacks and they made sure there where plenty of towels. So thank you so much for the experience. I would return.
