Friendly staff, but rather cold in the room - floor was freezing cold. Also, no wifi in the room that worked, and the staff knew it but could not fix it. Got the impression it was not going to be fixed...

Found it a bit hard when arriving by car where the actual entrance was and where to check in but also where to park the car. Once we found it, the stay was great and the food (dinner and breakfast) was really good. Especially the dinner! The only thing bringing the score down slightly was how it was very hot inside the hotel. Which I guess due to the age of the hotel but surely it must be possible to improve on ventilation or even better, have air condition installed. All in all though, a great experience!

Bra hotel, svajig restaurang
Trevligt hotell med trevlig atmosfär. Ger en känsla av gamla brunnstider. Mycket trevlig personal i såväl reception som restaurang. Vi åt en middag bestående av torskrygg samt kalventrecote. Tyvärr var entrecôten mycket medioker, kanske det sämsta jag ätit. UNDVIK DEN. Torskryggen var bra.

Finns potential
Mysigt hotell, bra placerat i Söderköping. Bra mat med svenskt kött o MSC märkt fisk! Trevligt spa med många olika upplevelser (duschar, pooler, bastu). Dessutom uteområde. Vårt rum motsvarade dock ej förväntningarna. Vi hyrde en svit som mest var två stora rum med konstig möblering. Inte värt svit-priset. Dessutom har servicen utvecklingspotential. Alla är trevliga o vänliga men kundbemötande kan förbättras. Några ex: Trots våra många frågor om vin till maten erbjöds vi ej att prata med sommelier (visste inte att det fanns förrän dagen efter) långsam o slapp service till det fina spa’t, nonchalant svar i receptionen o ingen info när vi kom om ’det vanliga’-dvs frukost, spa etc och ingen som frågade om vår vistelse när vi checkade ut.
