Ca S’Angel has 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) and an extra bed and/or cot can be provided. The cosy lounge with wood burning stove has satellite television (Astra) and a wood burning stove for snug evenings in. The kitchen has all basic essentials and there are two bathrooms, one with bath and the other with shower. There are two small terraces, one leading off the main bedroom and the other on the roof of the property with BBQ, two sun loungers and stunning views to the mountains and surrounding valley. The property is immaculately maintained with every comfort considered and catered for.
In Biniaraix itself there is a small plaza with bar for a snack or sun downer and the start of many hiking trails are on the doorstep.
The bustling, authentic town of Sóller is a 20 minute walk away with a lively plaza, cafes and bars and a traditional Saturday market. From here, a ‘must do’ day trip in the region is to ditch the car and take the scenic railway to Palma via vintage train.
From Sóller the horseshoe bay of Port Sóller is 3km by road or more scenically by antique tram. Port Sóller offers an wide array of restaurants, cafes and bars both traditional and contemporary
Around Sóller the landscape in spring is covered with oranges, lemons and olives. Beautiful local villages such as Biniaraix itself and Fornalutx are the best places from which to appreciate this landscape.
In any season, this area of Mallorca is a gem to behold and with close to 15,000 inhabitants, it is not one of the many tourist towns that entirely shuts down in winter.
