Our suite is 45 minutes from Victoria, BC, and its many attractions. Enjoy spectacular views, luxurious bed, original art, antiques, home-made self-serve breakfast, special touches, and privacy in the spacious suite. Your private entrance leads to a suite of more than 700-square feet (65 square metres) with four rooms:

* A west-coast themed-bedroom - comfy pillow-top queen bed , luxurious linens, terry-cloth robes, closet, light-blocking draperies / shades, and night-tables with reading lamps.

* A private and attractive modern bathroom - shower, toilet, sink, and amenities (varied shampoos, conditioners, soaps, moisturizer, and brand-new loofahs for you).

* A charming yet roomy living-dining space with floor-to-ceiling windows, and a flat-screen TV (cable channels, Crave TV, and Netflix), antique dining table, chairs, china cabinet, and more, large leather couch, board games and playing cards, personal fridge, electric kettle, toaster, tableware, and glasses.

* The spacious entry room has lots of information on local attractions for you to use and plenty of space for your shoes, coats, etc.

* Original professional art adorns the walls throughout the suite.

For your breakfast, we stock the living-dining space before your arrival with a variety of (primarily) home-made and/or organic items to enjoy when you like in privacy:

* home-made organic yogurt and granola;
* orange juice and milk;
* assorted breads, butter, jams, and jellies (gluten-free and dairy-free available with advance request);
* fresh fruit;
* French-press coffee maker and fresh-ground coffee;
* the convenience and variety of a Tassimo coffee machine (with assorted complementary pods, including light-medium-dark-roasts, decaf, specialty coffees); and
* an array of quality tea - many black, green, and herbal options.

We also take care of washing your used dishes daily, when you go out for the day.

The private suite is on the ground floor of our mid-century home, which sits on a park-like six wooded acres (with private trails for you to explore without any other people). The property is perched above the wild west coast of Vancouver Island, featuring sweeping views towards Sooke and East Sooke as well as vistas of the Olympic Mountains in the US. The spectacular coastal perspectives change dramatically, with dynamic lighting playing off the ocean, mountains, and shore through generous windows, as eagles and other birds soar past. Guests even have spotted whales swimming in the ocean below, from inside the comfort of the suite!
