Villa on two levels located a few meters from the beach of Marina di Sorso, close to the town, consisting of 3 bedrooms, 2 located on the ground floor and a third on the upper floor, with a large room with fireplace, bathroom with shower and kitchenette. The Villa has a large terrace overlooking the sea and a covered porch where you can have lunch and dinner in front of the beach. The seafront villa has direct access to the shore. The beach in front of the accommodation varies its characteristics from year to year depending on the marine weather: sandy, pebbly or covered with algae. However, for sand lovers, within 5 km there are some of the most beautiful beaches in Northern Sardinia. Within 60 km there are some of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Sardinia: Castelsardo, Stintino, Alghero, Badesi, Valledoria, Isola Rossa etc. The house is ideal for those who love a holiday in absolute privacy, but a few minutes drive from the entertainment center

The villa is a few kilometers from Sassari, Castelsardo, Costa Smeralda, Alghero and Costa Paradiso. The villa is located in a strategic position to reach the most famous destinations in Northern Sardinia.

Centrally located on the coast of the Gulf of Asinara, the town of Marina di Sorso remains about halfway between Porto Torres and Castelsardo, and offers its long sandy expanse surrounded by the emerald waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the green of the Mediterranean scrub which, quilting the sand dunes of the coast, surrounds everything with its pleasant natural setting.

Marina di Sorso is easily reached thanks to its proximity to Porto Torres, connected by ferries departing from Genoa and Marseille. Marina di Sorso is also located near Sassari which constitutes one of the most famous beaches together with that of Platamona.

To arrive: Once you arrive in Porto Torres, follow the road to the east called Sp81, which leads following the profile of the coast to Maritza. Marina di Sorso is located about 16 km away from Porto Torres.

The climate in Marino di Sorso is perfect for a holiday during the summer season, when the coastal resorts of the Gulf of Asinara fill with holidaymakers who come to enjoy the wonderful and uncrowded sea of Platamona, Marina di Sorso and nearby Eden Beach .
Summer is in fact a long season, which starts from May and arrives in mid-October with the absence or almost of rain and winds. The temperatures of July and August are positioned at values slightly above 30 °, the sea waters maintain values around 24 ° C in the months of July and August.

The long beach surrounded by the remarkable greenery of the coast attracts many vacationers. This is the natural execution of Platamona beach, which extends wide to the west of Marina di Sorso. The beach then continues eastward, going to join the beach of Eden Beach, near Maritza.
The town of Marina di Sorso takes its name from the town of Sorso, which is located in a more secluded position in the center of the territory of Sassari, at about 136 m above sea level, on a hill next to Sennori. These two locations are surrounded by fertile nature, where olive and wine cultivation dominate.

In Sorso you can visit the beautiful church of di Noli me tollere, in the Billellera fountain, while along the road leading to Sassari there is the archaeological site of the medieval village of Geridu.

Emplacement idéal - 10 mètres de la plage de galets - loin de la foule
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette maison, les pieds dans l’eau. Une vraie maison de vacances d’ete. Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil de Vanna, toujours disponible et très gentille et qui nous a donné quelques renseignements touristiques sympas. L intérêt de cette maison est qu elle est à 10 pas de la mer et que nous étions dans l’eau à tous moments sans les inconvénients de la foule du mois d août. Cette année, août a été particulièrement chaud et c’est la première fois que l’eau était si chaude. Aucun moustique malgré la chaleur. La plage est en galets, il faut prévoir des chaussures adaptées. Mais pas besoin d’y rester puisque la maison est si proche. La douche extérieure et les 2 tuyaux d arrosage représentent une bonne commodité quand on est plusieurs à vouloir se rincer après la baignade. Quelques petites réparations sont à prévoir : les volets du séjour ne peuvent pas être maintenus ouverts quand il y a du vent, Il faudrait au moins 2 balais en bon état pour nettoyer terrasse et carrelage de la maison. La douche est minuscule et une personne de forte corpulence ne peut se doucher aisément. L ideal serait de l’agrandir en supprimant le bidet pour gagner de la place. A 5 personnes, c était un peu juste. Un WC à l extérieur serait une bonne chose pour améliorer le confort quand on est plus de 4 personnes. La maison est en contrebas de la route qui est fort fréquentée, pour les personnes sensibles au bruit, prévoir des boules Kies. Sinon, rien a dire pour le reste! C était vraiment super! Nous revenons bien reposés, en forme et bien bronzés !

Nous avons été très gentiment accueillis par Maria qui nous a présenté en détail sa maison qui, il faut le noter est située en contre bas d'une route assez fréquentée. La vue de la terrasse est très belle mais la "plage" est très petite et recouverte de gros galets donc impossible de s'y installer pour se baigner. La maison est assez confortable mais mériterait quelques améliorations : la chambre du 1er étage n'est pas une vraie chambre puisqu'elle ne ferme pas c'est plutôt une mezzanine, la kitchenette n'est pas très pratique pour y cuisiner (surtout si on est 6!) le petit cagibi juste à côté n'est pas utilisable puisqu'il est rempli d'affaires appartenant à la propriétaire c'est dommage car il pourrait servir pour ranger les provisions et ainsi libérer la petite tablette faisant office de plan de travail. La machine à laver se trouve dans une remise de jardin au milieu de machines de jardinage en tous genres et des poubelles ; la porte en fer pour y accéder nécessite beaucoup de force pour l'ouvrir. La salle de bains avec wc est vraiment très petite, le bac à douche aussi, ainsi que le ballon d'eau chaude ( attention à ne pas prendre plusieurs douches à la suite) Un aspirateur serait le bienvenu car un balai pour le ménage quotidien ce n'est pas suffisant. Enfin, nous avons donné une caution qui ne nous a pas été rendue entièrement ; la somme retenue payant des frais bancaires suite à notre paiement par virement (nous ne voyons rien confirmant cela sur le site!) Cette maison est dans l'ensemble agréable mais les prestations ne sont pas à la hauteur du prix demandé.

Wonderful place to stay and disconnet
The Villa is wonderfully located near great beaches. It was a central place for the places I wanted to visit in Sardegna. The house was very nice and Vanna was extremely nice and helpful throughout our stay. The place was a bit hard to find at first, but overall I would stay here again.

Comfortable traditional villa on the seafront
The villa is set in beautiful grounds, a stones throw from the sea, so you can hear the waves. Lovely big patio area with plenty of seating - whether you prefer shade or sun, there is plenty of space for both. Inside, the villa is traditional in style, with a new kitchen which had everything we needed when we wanted to eat in. The beds were comfortable and it was very relaxing in the evening to sit in the living area with the windows open, listening to the waves and the crickets, and enjoying the breeze to cool down after a hot day in the sun. The location was good - within a short drive to lots of nice beaches and towns such as Castelsardo and Porto Torres. The host was very friendly, responsive and accommodating. We were made to feel very welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and we’re sad to be leaving.

Eigentlich ganz schön
Die Anreise war unkompliziert, die Kommunikation gelang dank eines digitalen Übersetzers gut, außerdem spricht mein Partner etwas italienisch. Das Haus liegt nur 6 km entfernt von dem Yachthafen am selben Ufer. Am Strand konnte man ausgiebig Algen studieren. Wer ein Fiable für die 70/80er Jahre hat, kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten, es gibt sogar im einzigen Bad die Originalsanitärobjekte in Mahattanbeige, die man in D leider nur noch selten findet, die Toilettenspülung funktionierte meistens, die Duschtasse war sehr übersichtlich und beanspruchte daher nicht unnötig viel Platz. Es gab für jeden Geschmack passende Handtücher, groß oder klein, beige oder bunt, eben ganz verschieden. Die Betten waren bequem, das dritte Schlafzimmer war auf einer Galerie, die meisten Schubladen funktionierten, die Küche war recht neu, nicht nur diese wurde glücklicherweise durch verschiedende Arten von Deckchen geschützt, man konnte also überall hantieren ohne Sorge zu haben, dass etwas zerkratzt wird. Den Geschirrspüler brauchten wir nicht, wir spülen ohnehin lieber mit der Hand ab. Ein Toaster war schnell beschafft, wir waren ja mit dem Auto da. Nachdem man uns den Schalter für die Gartenbeleuchtung zeigte, war die Fahrt über das riesige Grundstück bei Dunkelheit noch angenehmer. Die belebte Zufahrtsstrasse ist nachts fast wie ausgestorben. Das Türschloß war bei dem sehr abgelegenen Haus zum Glück so schwergängig, dass es kein Dieb hätten öffnen können.

Traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge
Wir verbrachten mit 3 Personen im Juli 2022 einen tollen Urlaub in diesem Objekt direkt am Meer. Vanna hat uns an der Tankstelle abgeholt und uns zum Haus gebracht, was super geklappt hat. Überhaupt ist sie eine sehr freundliche und kompetente Dame. Sie hat uns dann alles gezeigt und erklärt, was mit dem Übersetzer ganz gut ging. Wir hatten einmal ein kleines Problem was sie über WhatsApp uns gut erklärte. Auch hat sie uns zweimal kontaktiert ob alles in Ordnung ist oder sie uns bei etwas helfen könnte. Es ist ein älteres Haus, leider nur in einem Zimmer eine Klimaanlage und die Dusche war sehr klein. Dafür gab es eine aussendusche. Da wir unseren Hund dabei hatten, der glücklich war über das große Grundstück und die paar Meter zum Meer. Auf der riesigen terasse sahen wir täglich wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge. Auch die einheimischen Nachbarn waren sehr nett. Das Haus hat Charme und wir hatten uns super erholt. Zum relaxen der richtige Ort.

Paradiso
Siamo appena rientrati dopo due settimane di vacanza e sono stati giorni bellissimi. È stato esattamente ciò di cui avevamo bisogno. Siamo una famiglia di 5 persone con tempi ed esigenze diversi e il posto ci ha permesso estrema autonomia: ognuno è riuscito a vivere il mare quando più preferiva. Eravamo praticamente solo noi e due scriccioli impegnati a fare il nido. L'ampio terrazzo e l'ampio portico ci hanno permesso di vivere sempre fuori, riossigenando mente e corpo. La signora Vanna è disponibilissima e pronta a risolvere qualsiasi richiesta. Per i nostri ragazzi è stata una delle vacanze più belle e quindi ci torneremo senz'altro il prossimo anno!

A wonderful seaside retreat
We spent a wonderful week in this lovely home by the sea.. The sound of the ocean was our constant backdrop. We saw beautiful sunsets and enjoyed eating fruits and vegetables fresh from the garden. The grounds are very well-cared-for with lovely flowers. The home is very quiet and relaxing, near charming local villages. The host was welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this house.

Villa in riva al mare... Spettacolo quotidiano...
Nonostante le pessime condizioni metereoligiche abbiamo passato una bellissima vacanza in questa villa dotata di ogni comfort...con il mare letteralmente a 20 metri dalla splendida terrazza... Un ringraziamento speciale alla Sig.ra VANNA che si è presa cura di noi, preoccupandosi che nonostante il mal tempo avessimo tutto quando necessario per godere, comunque, di 2 settimane di totale relax... Torneremo sicuramente!!!

La casa non è recintata
Avevamo preso questa casa per una bella vacanza con il nostro cane. La casa NON è recintata come invece descritto E come asserito da M.M. ed il cane è finito sul tratto di strada statale in rettilineo dove la casa affaccia. Per fortuna è andato tutto bene Ma il cane è stato legato al guinzaglio per 14 gg. Per il resto nulla da eccepire. La proprietà si presenta come in foto.

Haus mit 1A Lage am Meer mit traumhafter Terrasse
Das Haus liegt traumhaft direkt am Meer (Meer ca. 20 m von der wundervollen Terrasse entfernt). Mit Wasserschuhen kann mit ohne Probleme im klarsten Wasser baden (Stein-/Sand-/Algenstrand). Jeden Abend war der Sonnenuntergang garantiert. Das Haus ist schon etwas älter, aber es ist alles vorhanden, was benötigt wird. Bei uns hatten die Vorgänger das Geschirr nicht sehr sauber hinterlassen, aber da kann ja die Vermieterin nichts machen. Der Kontakt zur Agentur war problemlos und der lokale Kontakt war sehr herzlich. Einweisung ins Haus mit Google Übersetzer, da wir leider kein Italienisch können. Empfang mit Kuchen, Wassermelone und Getränken war super. Als es während unseres Aufenthalts Probleme mit dem Gasherd gab, wurde am nächsten Tag ein neuer installiert. Super schnelle Reaktion. Vom Haus aus sind alle Punkte der Nordküste gut zu erreichen. An manchen Tagen haben wir aber einfach die Ruhe des Hauses genossen. Die Straße hört man zwar, sie hat uns aber nicht gestört. Eine bessere Ausstattung mit Handtüchern wäre gut. WLAN hat gut funktioniert.

Traumhafter Urlaub zum Entspannen
Wir verbrachten im Juli 2020 einen traumhaften Urlaub in diesem Ferienhaus. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und ein Kleinkind und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die wunderschöne Terrasse, der toll angelegte Garten und die einmalige Lage direkt am Meer. Wir staunten jeden Abend über tolle Sonnenuntergänge und freuten uns über zahlreiche Abkühlungen im Meer. Man sollte allerdings wissen, dass es sich um keinen Sandstrand, sondern um Steinstrand bzw. Seegrasterrassen handelt. Ein bisschen Sand im Wasser hatten wir aber auch, so dass unser kleiner auch prima planschen konnte. Ausserdem ist man weitestgehend für sich alleine. Der Garten und die Terrasse sind mit vielen tollen Möbeln ausgestattet, es gab auch eine Schaukel, Planschbecken, eine Aussendusche und viele schattige Plätzchen. Die Begrüßung und Betreuung war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Das Haus an sich ist nicht spektakulär und schon etwas älter, aber es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht und im Sommer ist man sowieso zu 90 Prozent draußen. Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass das Bad und vor allem die Dusche sehr klein ist und, dass das dritte Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss in einer offenen Galerie ist. Toll war, dass wir eine Waschmaschine hatten und fur unseren kleinen Kinderstuhl und -Bett vorhanden war. Alles in allem war es für uns genau passend und wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Wir wollten Ruhe und nicht an überfüllten Stränden liegen und haben dafür in Kauf genommen, dass man für weitere Unternehmungen oder Einkäufe ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto fahren muss. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Holiday Sardinia like a local
Sited on the Sassari Riveria, the villa has easy access to sandy beaches along the coastline to Platamona. The nicest are turns off the main road through pine woods, and there may be a cafe alongside a free car park. La Pelosa at Stintino is a 45 minute drive away and is currently ticketed - arrive early to find paid parking. Sassari centre, for some city action, is a 20 minute drive. However, there is pretty much everything you need within the villa itself - a beautiful sea view where you can watch Corsica emerge as the sun sets, a pebble beach good for snorkelling in the mornings when the sea is calm (essential to wear reef shoes), and a pretty garden well stocked with herbs and two varieties of green and purple figs that you can pick. Inside the house are plenty of towels, kitchen equipment - kettle, microwave, cooker, toaster, washing machine, soap and cleaning equipment, beach umbrellas and pump for your lilo. There’s an air con unit, but we didn’t use this preferring to leave the windows open (mosquito nets in place, but the light breeze meant no mosquitoes!). Access is via a fast and busy road at the back of the house and requires caution when exiting; and this can be a bit noisy at night if you, like us, prefer to have windows open. A nice touch on our arrival was a tour by the owner (with the assistance of google translate) with thoughtful gifts of fruit, pastries, water and soft drinks for tired travellers.

Sunny stay in north of Sardegna
The house is as shown on the website. The location is amazing, right on the waterfront. It is a quiet area, except for the road in front of the house, but there is a big garden in between, the house is not visible from the street. The sound of the waves is louder than the sound of the road. The house itself is a little dated, but has everything you need, except for dishwasher., it did not bother us. The Wi-Fi is hopeless but of course we have 4G so not a problem. Beds are good. Bathroom with very tiny shower, good waterflow. Not for big people, door won't close then😁 The owner Vanna is a very kind lady who explained everything in italian with Google translate. All in all good experience! Recommend!

Besuch bei der italienischen Famlie ......
Wer sich einen Urlaub wünscht, der sich anfühlt, wie bei italienern zu leben und dennoch für sich sein will, der ist hier genau richtig. Es ist so, wie wenn man seine nicht vorhandene italienische Oma in den Ferien besucht, sie aber nicht da ist. Die Lage ist traumhaft. Direkt am Meer (gut, die Strasse stört etwas, ist aber auch praktisch). Man kann schnell ins mehr wobei Badeschuhe zwingend sind. Die Gegend eignet sich ideal zum schnorcheln. Man hat den ganzen Tag Sonne und es ist immer ein SOnneruntergang garantiert (außer bei Regen). Es gibt einheimische Nachbarn, die das Feeling verstärken, aber nie stören. Das Haus ist nicht perfekt, es ist morbide, halt wie wenn man seine Großmutter besucht. Man darf daher die Erwartungen auch nur daran messen. so wird es der perfekte Urlaub. aber es ist alles da, was man braucht und für alles andere reicht eine Kurze NAchricht an die Vermieter und es wird sich wirklich gekümmert! Die Herzlichkeit der vermieter ist wirklich absolut toll!

Great stay
We would definitely stay here again. Simple house and beautiful position in front of the sea. Internet connection OK, not so fast, but Ok for our needs. It slept 6 adults comfortably with high end linens. There were adequate towels for our family and having a clothes washer was definitely a plus. The House was steps away from the sea (reef and pebbles). The house was also within short driving distance to the major sites. The view from the house was breathtaking. Vanna was very friendly and was very helpful with the check-in process. Molto Grazie!!

Wir kamen über eine Stunde verspätet in der Unterkunft an. Dennoch wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen. Selbst sardisches Brot und Wurst, Schinken und Obst war frisch besorgt worden. Allein dafür ein danke schön. Leider war der Zeitpunkt unserer Reise nicht optimal gewählt. Es war kalt und regnerisch, das Haus ausgekühlt und es gibt in keinem Raum eine Heizung. Aber wir wurden sofort mit einem Gasofen versorgt. Das war top. Decken gab es ebenfalls ausreichend. Aufgrund der Nähe zum Meer trocknen die Handtücher fast nicht und waren immer etwas klamm. Aber mit den steigenden Temperaturen wurde es besser. Der direkte Zugang zum Meer ist toll, aber leider keine Möglichkeit dort direkt zu baden oder sich zu sonnen. Aber dafür ist die Terrasse riesig und man hat einen schönen Blick aufs Meer und den Sonnenuntergang. Der Internetempfang ist nicht so gut, fehlte auch öfter ganz. Aber das ist einfach dem Netz zu schulden. Muss man halt wissen. Sehr sehr positiv ist, dass man uns sofort versucht hat zu helfen und sollte etwas im Haus nicht gehen, dann einfach Bescheid sagen wenn etwas fehlt oder etwas benötigt wird. Eine Anregung für den Vermieter: Eine kleine Infomappe wäre schön. Gute Lokale, Weinstuben, Ausflugsempfehlungen, wo kommt der Müll hin etc. Alles in allem war es schön und auch die Verabschiedung ausgesprochen nett und alles sehr unkompliziert.

The house is in a great location within walking distance of the sea and 2 very good restaurants nearby Platamona and Sorso (2km). It's actually located in Maritza, which is better than being in Platamona itself. The house itself is essential but the sea down the house is fantastic. The host was very welcoming and nothing was a problem for her. The view over the sea was fantastic and every evening sunset was spectacular. Very comfortable and spacious accommodation.Would highly recommend

Beautiful location, wonderful home and exceptional sunsets!
The 3 bedroom home is situated near Sorso, Tonnara and Marritza in Northern Sardinia. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. At their request, we met our hosts in a nearby location as finding the home off of the SS200 would have been challenging on our own. It is a beautiful beach house, 20 meters from the water, and it has a large terrace to eat meals, relax and watch the glorious sunsets. The location of the home was important as we were able to explore La Pelosa Beach, Stintino, Neptune's Grotto, Alghero, Castelsardo, La Maddelegna Archipelago (a MUST do!), and Sorso easily. The communication with Marie (the Home Away host) was exceptional and owners greeted us and introduced us to the house and it's amenities. Vanna and her family were friendly and communicative (when needed). We absolutely recommend anyone coming to Northern Sardinia to rent this lovely beach house - if you want beautiful beaches, relaxing days, and site seeing. The house's location provides all of these. We didn't want to leave after 10 days!
