Great potential when totally finished
Half the hotel had been refurbished and just reopened, but unfortunately we had an un-refurbished room, although clean, the bathroom was below standard with broken taps and shower. The staff were very apologetic and advised these were scheduled to be up graded. The rest of the facilities at the hotel were very good as were the staff. Once the hotel is fully functioning this will a lovely place to stay.

L'hôtel est situé en lisière de forêt. Il y a un grand parking.Nous avons été accueilli très chaleureusement. L'hôtel est cosy, la chambre très propre et confortable. Le buffet de petit déjeuner était plus que correct et très bon. Nous n'y avons passé qu'une nuit, mais nous y reviendrons sans aucun doute.

Chegada a hora de jantar, cerca das 19h30, informados que fomos na recepção do horário do restaurante, a ele nos dirigimos, como usualmente, em hotéis com sala de jantar. Com muitas mesas disponíveis, foi-nos recusado o jantar, mesmo tendo-nos identificado como hóspedes do hotel, com a alegação que não tínhamos feito reserva prévia. Nem houve qualquer preocupação ou empenho em oferecer uma solução alternativa, em que não ficássemos privados de uma qq refeição, de um qualquer alimento. Demais a mais situando-se o hotel num local relativamente isolado, sem grandes alternativas em redor, quer de lojas de vitualhas, ou boulangeries, quer a nível de restauração, sobretudo aquela hora. Quem nos negou de forma seca e autoritária, presumo que o chefe de mesa, rodeado de dois ou três empregados algo surpresos, parecia ter tirado alguma satisfação, com este protagonismo prepotente. Mas deve ter sido impressão minha. Independentemente das razões evocadas - regra não cumprida de necessidade de reserva, por falta atenção ou de comunicação - na prática, houve uma falha grave no dever deontológico, humano e profissional, de acordo com tradição secular, de normas e atitudes, de boa hospitalidade, para com os hóspedes, que escolheram o vosso hotel. De resto, o hotel em si está a precisar de renovação das instalações, já envelhecidas!
