Poor place to stay
Sheets on bed was itchy. There was ants on bedside table. Airconditiober set on 66. No cool air I wanted my room cooler for sleeping. Breakfast only lasted til 0930. Didn’t see any guests but 2. I didn’t get up til 1000. Most hotel breakfast lasts til 1030. Could have done much better and enjoyed it much better at Marriott or a Hilton. nothin g special about this place. Truly not Amish

On checkin we were given a key to a room that was not cleaned. The front desk person was not particularly friendly although she did rectify the room for us. There was a strange odour in the hallway. Our room was fine and while we realize it was meant to be simple, it could have used some updating. The shower was very nice and the bed was fine. Breakfast was not what we were expecting at an Amish Inn - plastic wrapped food in a cramped alcove. The breakfast seating area was large. Also the exterior was a disappointment as I thought it would be tidy similar to Amish farms in the area. Instead it was mostly dirt and weeds outside. Overall an average stay, the old reviews on the website are misleading.

Not as good as it looks
It was way more run down than the picture indicayes but the room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Service wasn't good. I asked for the free breakfast and pointed to a gift shop that had cetealwithput milk for purchase, apparently no breakfat except on weekends. Then there was no hot water and I was there for a fitness conference and not taking a shower was a major inconvenience. No one knew when it would be fixed, if I could check out and get my money back, etc. No manager around, no maintenance around. No offer to help. I was very disappointed. O hear the cute place right next door is great though. Go there instead.

For breakfast you get a 5 dollar voucher for their snack store. I was the only car in the parking lot . No coffee in lobby area. The room was clean and that is all it had going for it. Oh course the outside pool was filled and ready to swim beginning of may
