This is a run-down property. In the room I had the sink and toilet looked fairly new, but the furniture was in poor shape, the bed was alright. Towels were stained and shower curtain was badly stained. The pictures will tell the rest of the story, but here is what was lacking: no place to put a suitcase, no place to hang clothes, not even a wall hook, no shelves, no toilet paper dispenser, no bath mat, no coffee maker, no cups that can be used in a microwave (microwave was rusty and greasy see picture), no Bible, no available wall outlets, exposed wiring from an old fixture, moldy bathroom ceiling.
I booked this hotel for a friend who had a roadside emergency. Once he got there, they charged him again, after I’d already paid. Had to go through Expedia and got a partial refund. But the room was absolutely filthy. My friend didn’t even feel comfortable changing clothes or showering there it was so nasty. The police showed up twice during the night when he was there, once for the neighboring room where the guest was having paranoid delusions of being watched/room broken into.
The picture of the room online isn't the room you get. Patched up holes all over the walls. The bathroom was undescribable. Avoid the hole in the floor when you walk into the room that's only covered by the carpet. Cockroaches everywhere. It was disgusting. And this is review is for room 103 but I'm sure the rest of the hotel is the same.
I paid cash, then stayed in room for 30 min. And left to find a better motel. A tent in the middle of a busy, filthy train track would have been better.
There was no ice,no tv, no glasses, no soap, no wifi,. The sheets and pillow cases were marked and dirty. There was poor lighting, holes in walls and furniture.
Dangerous front step for wife. Nothing was plugged in when we arrived. He tried to get more money. He said i got the best room. (WOW)
We left without getting our money back. You should be ashamed of yourselves
for representing such a disgraceful dump.
Not only is the hotel in disrepair (big holes punched out in the drywall and the door; a locking door that needs jiggling to open; cigarette holes in the bedspread), I saw two crawling bed bugs on my sheets before leaving. The owner has not yet refunded my money despite numerous attempts by me in person and by Expedia representatives to gain his permission to refund my room. How dare you charge someone for a room that they couldn't stay in because it was infected with bedbugs. How dare you refuse to accommodate Expedia service reps who ask permission to cancel the transaction. The owner yelled loudly at me and kicked me out of his office, though I was being polite, clear, factual, and firm. I didn't ask for extra money for cleaning my clothing or luggage. I just wanted to be refunded my charge for the room which was unusable, dirty, and infested with biting parasites.
Aweful stayed for less than an hour found bugs in the bed, no hot water, toulet backed up and when talked to front desk simply stated had no more rooms so I left.
