I have stayed here many times before when visiting URI but will find another hotel from now on. The mattress was more of a cot, completely uncomfortable, sounded very old - if you moved it made a ton of noise, thin, creaky, had to sleep on pillows. I asked the front desk to move me or change the mattress and they said there was nothing they could do. The blackout shade would not open, so the uncomfortable room was in darkness. Again, called the front desk and they never sent the person they promised to fix it. Very disappointed.

The location is convenient for visiting several of RI’s south county towns & villages; the hotel staff is especially pleasant, helpful and well spoken. Although room (323) was clean & comfortable, three conditions require improvement: - only one chair - exterior sealed window glass contained moisture and fogged blocking an otherwise good view. - light fixture lamps are harsh

Please read this till the end. I did submit a review we checked in our room was nasty. Had bugs on the bed bugs in the tub not bedbugs gnats. We called we complained. We were upgraded to a beautiful room with a balcony, we were also Extended a late check out for inconvenience for this we were thankful and grateful the owners were wonderful pleasant surprise great upgrade

Clean, friendly staff, fresh breakfast. I gave 4 stars only bc of the air conditioning in our room. Every time it kicked on it sounded like a jet taking off. I was bone tired so it did not prevent me from sleeping. Everything else was great.

This hotel was quiet and near the beach. The pool really needed a vacuum while we were there which was disappointing. The staff were very friendly.
