Staff seemed “put out” when we has any issues, often said basically ‘that’s not my department.” We had 2 rooms and the heating and air didn’t work in one for 2 days. Staff kept saying there’s nothing they could do but we persisted and they finally sent someone who fixed it in about 30 minutes. The entire lobby was closed for a New Year’s party for only ages 21 & upon New Year’s Eve but we could watch & hear the whole thing from our balcony. Shouldn’t market as a “family” resort when NYE was closed to anyone under 21. Looked like there were very few people there anyway. Bars don’t open til 4. We would have gladly spent $ on drinks there if bar was open earlier but had to go elsewhere. Hot tub was NASTY.

Front desk people were very friendly (check in and out) Reported issues with shower not draining, keurig not working and resort credit not applied. Did not receive call back until the night before check out. Received an apology and a 1 day resort fee credit. Had to remind them at check out to apply the resort credit (they were nice about it). Valet service was inconsistent. Tried to get a luggage cart and they said the couldn’t “loan it out” I’ve never experienced this at any hotel. Then they wouldn’t retrieve our car when we called down for it, said we had to be present with the ticket (also a first at a hotel). Overall ok, but a lot more options for the price in the area.

Poop near pool
We found dog poop next to the entrance to the swimming pool. It was bad enough that my kids didn’t want to use the pool. I mentioned it to the manager and she said that she couldn’t do anything to reimburse us for a facility fee that we couldn’t even make use of. If you’re going to allow let’s, then make sure pet owners clean up. And I was shocked that the manager wouldn’t reimburse us even for a little.

We absolutely loved the property and the staff were amazing. However, while we were there they had a problem with the alarm system which was going off for most of 3 hours in the late evening while trying to sleep. It was sooooo loud.
