Things to Know
Guests staying at a South Lake Tahoe rental must adhere to all City Ordinances. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m. In addition, no open flames, no smoking, and parking permits apply. Maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded under any circumstance. Fines of up to $2000 will be imposed by The City of South Lake Tahoe, without warning, for any violations.

Dock details: Dock/pier is for sightseeing and to see the beautiful view of Lake Tahoe. No boat docking or boat tying of any kind is permitted. No fishing or diving off the dock is permitted.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) Underwhelming, not work the price. Not impressed with Vacasa
During our stay half the property was under construction. During our first night the front desk told us we can drive on the fire service road to reach our unit. When we arrived to the service road we were told that it was closed and we need to park at the north parking lot and carry our luggage to the other half of the property on the south side on foot. I don’t think there’s a single sidewalk path in here that isn’t under construction, you’ll be walking through dirt. Next upon arrival, there was a foul smell on the first level. We came to find that no one removed the last guests soiled bedding and towels. When it came to sleeping, the mattresses were not great. We turned the heat on for bed time and the heat did not reach the upstairs bedroom. I called Vacasa and the representative was not helpful at all. We looked in all the bedrooms for blankets and her instructions was to look again and that the property is noted to have adequate blankets. The “blankets” are a top sheet as well as another top sheet that is the thickness of toilet paper. I have no idea how people can stay here during winter when adequate blankets aren’t provided. Someone at the property did eventually come to drop off a real blanket and take the dirty linens which was nice. I did get a call from the front desk and she was a lot more helpful than Vacasa. The unit also has spider webs throughout. The headboards in one of the downstairs bedrooms are not attached to the wall or bed frame, which did not cause

Great Location
The location of Lakeland Village is amazing, walk to the beach, pier and pool for a family friendly vacation. However, the unit is not worth the price, and needs many updates and upgrades to make it comfortable. Motel quality bedding, and furniture. There were no fans to help with the intense heat. The unit was not vacuumed and everything felt very old and dusty.
