I went during the week of Thanksgiving. I got a great winter rate. The beach was about 1.5-2 blocks walk from the Inn. It would be shorter if you didn't want to cross at the traffic light. I was able to see sunset about a 1 minute walk west of the Inn on the bayside. Sunrise although it was cloudy would have been great. There seemed to be a bus stop (free) right next to the Inn. Which would be helpful during the busy time spring break. It was clean, comfortable, with a good amount of parking on the property. The pool was cold during the end of November, but so was the ocean at that time of year.
