This condo is not only conveniently located but it is also only a quick 3 min walk to the beach, the walk is also a very pleasant one since you go through beautiful green gardens and pass by the pools. The beach deck is amazing! Its large and you can relax for hours and hours, tan, read, work or simply stare at the endless ocean.

Pack your bags for a refreshing South Padre Island getaway! This impeccable condo has a view to one of our beautiful pools and amazing green gardens. This a very convenient and relaxing set up for anyone who enjoys a quick walk to the pool or a relaxing afternoon staring at a peaceful view. Natural sunlight invades the condo with the most amazing cozy feel that simply wraps you up. The social area is nice and big to enjoy a good time with friends and family. Its homeward bound.

This spacious two-level condo includes ideal features for your getaway. Oh, and the bedroom located upstairs has its own private balcony. Perfect! The kitchen is fully equipped, so be ready to cook away!

Kids will love the playground, the pools, the gardens and the whole family will love the beach deck! Solare-Bahia Mar offers plenty of options for the entire family to enjoy. If you like tennis you can pack your rackets and enjoy a match on one of our two tennis courts. The property has two amazing large pools each with a hot tub and gardens for days. This is one of the biggest properties on the island and security is right on point! You will simply love the privacy it offers, its perfect!

South Padre Island equals fun for everyone! It caters to people all ages, families, friends, you name it. It is a paradise with amazing sunsets and endless views. Go for a fun day of fishing (deep-sea fishing, deck fishing), fun boat rides, surfing, kite surfing, horseback riding, birdwatching, water parks, bicycle rides among so many other activities. Long walks by the ocean or by the bay are also strongly recommended. 
Enjoy all the restaurant options, the food on the island is always fresh and offers a wide variety of options. Do cross the bridge to Port Isabel where you will find fresh prepared ceviche, crab, oysters, and other fish to take back to your condo too.

For your convenience, beach chairs and umbrella rentals are available.

HOUSE RULES:
•    Maximum occupancy limit:  8 adults + 2 children (age 12 and under).
•    No invited Guests are allowed.
•    To give access to the property it is necessary to sign the registration form and provide a valid ID (with photo and signature).
•    No smoking allowed
•    Minimum age to rent is 21
•    All persons are required to wear wristbands.
•    Check in begins at 4:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am.
•    This is a pet friendly unit. If you plan to bring a pet, please be sure that you selected the option. You are allowed to bring up to 2 small family dogs or cats. 
•    Rental includes two parking permits. Additional temporary parking permit may be purchased on site for an additional fee. Boats and trailers are allowed into the property for an extra fee. No R.V.'s or motor homes will be allowed on property.
•    BBQ Grills: Available in the designated “Palenque” area. Perfect for a lovely outdoor meal with family or friends. 2 Burner BBQ Grill: $40.00 and 4 Burner BBQ Grill: $50.00
•    Our rental properties are family oriented. Good behavior is expected from our guests, respect for property rules and other guests. No parties allowed. Minimum age to rent is 21 and must be present during the entire stay. 
•    We kindly request that guests respect the Resort/HOA rules. Failure to comply with their house policies is grounds for eviction from the property and/or fines vary depending on these rules. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Birthday getaway to the beach!
I really enjoyed staying at the 885 villa, it’s very clean and the AC was very cold and quiet which I liked. The patios were also awesome and the 2nd story very from within the unit was a great view or the pool and tower. The security guards were very professional and make all the guest feel safe. Looking forward to the next trip to SPI! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a contrast to their daily workday. The wifi works great also for any urgent emails that need to go out. Overall great experience! 5/5 stars!!!

Overall Very Nice
The condo was beautiful and had a great bedroom/bathroom setup for our family. The furnishings were cute and beach-themed. Check-in was quick and easy, but the necessary paperwork should all be handled at once instead of sending urgent text messages implying I was being uncooperative while I was busy unloading, unpacking, and getting set up in the condo. Great condo.

While the location itself in proximity to the ocean and events on South Padre was amazing, cleanliness and usability of some items mentioned in the posting left much to be desired. The bathrooms were not cleaned prior to our stay with there being brown stains in multiple restrooms left on toilet seats. The sinks in 2 of the 3 bathrooms did not work appropriately (just sprayed water and did not drain accordingly) and there was black mold present in the washing machine in our unit. I attempted to reach out about the issue but had no correspondence back. In addition there was construction that occurred one of the 4 days that we were there in which a ladder blocked entrance to our unit for an entire day and the only time that property management stopped by was to drop off additional sets of keys and to pick up a gucci bag the previous renter left on site. The Televisions were also outdated and would constantly freeze and not work. For the price associated with renting this unit… it may be in your best interest to utilize a high end hotel instead.

We brought a group of teens for winter break. We had a blast. Property was in the perfect location and had everything we needed. The condo was clean and comfortable. We felt safe and secure. The pools and hot tubs were nice as well. We would rent this place again.

Overall good stay
We had a few minor issues. When we first arrived the place hadn’t been cleaned but they were quick to get housekeeping in to get it dealt with. The hot water heater in a unit below us was being replaced one day and we were not informed our water would be temporarily shut off. It was a minor inconvenience but was over in just a couple hours so not a big deal. And the upstairs bedroom had AC but no heat (and it was unfortunately cold while we were there) we never contacted maintenance about it though bc the kids didn’t seem to mind it being cooler up there. Overall the property was awesome! Close to some fun activities. The space in the actual condo was comfortable and welcoming. They provided plenty of dishes and towels which was really great. Lots of room for everyone to hang out. The pools and hot tubs were really nice. The condo was well maintained and nice inside. Our kids thought the spiral stairs leading to their own little room was so cool. Definitely great for a family or group. We would stay again. It was a great time and enjoyable!

La Isla SPI Condo
Unit was portrayed just as it was online. Unit was very clean and up to date. It was very spacious having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms plus 3 different balconies.. Entire complex was very nice and well kept. Couple of things to mention is that when we first got our keys at the guard shack, the key to the doorknob lock would not open. It looked like the lock was rusty and weathered for the salt air from the beach from storms. I had to ask the person at the guard shack for another key because I couldn't open the door and didn't want to snap the key off in the lock.. With the other key I just barely got the door to unlock. other than that everything else was fine.

Facility was probably the best beach front property in the area. Very clean and in great proximity to other areas. We did have an initial problem with our room but the staff quickly acted and moved us to something more suitable. Very professional staff and resort. Pool and hot tub were AWESOME. Will definitely be visiting again soon!!

Not bad, but we'd choose differently next time
We arrived about 90 minutes early with a car full of groceries & they graciously accomodated us with an early check-in. Unfortunately, the freezer & refrigerator weren't cold. We contacted the property manager & were told the cleaning company leaves them open after they clean the fridge, so they typically need 24 hours to get cold. We arrived on a Sunday - by Thursday the refrigerator finally seemed cold & the things we had in the freezer (juice boxes, water bottles, ice cream & bacon) did not freeze the entire 5 days we were there). We kept management informed - including a text as we departed on Friday (six days ago) to let them know they should get the fridge/freezer looked at, but did not receive a response of any kind. Also, when we arrived, there was a door hanger on the front door from Spectrum with a "Sorry we missed you" note. We walked in & found that neither TV nor internet worked. Again, communicated this to management & they graciously brought a hot spot over on Monday so we could at least get some internet access. TV/Internet didn't get restored til Wednesday. The ad says it's a beachfront beach deck but the condo is actually towards the back of the property with a view of one of the pools, but no view of the beach. It also says the master suite is upstairs - the upstairs bedroom actually has two queens; the master is on the main floor. Positives: They provided beach towels, had a clean condo with a well supplied kitchen (other than the fridge/freezer that needs attention), it was decorated & furnished nicely and check-in/check-out were very easy. Maybe we just hit this condo on an off week with the tv/internet & fridge/freezer issues but we'll be staying somewhere else next time we're in South Padre.

Condo was nice. Only issues were that water pressure was low. Faucet metal filters are severely oxidized. Wifi does not reach top floor well. Otherwise it was a nice and clean and updated beach condo. Lots of parking too. Easy access to beach. Nice 2 pools.

We had a problem with the fridge not cooling. Problem was fixed on day three of our stay. Otherwise lots of space . Beautiful gardens and two pools. Very close to the beach. Lots of security. Comfortable beds. Kitchen had everything you need except for kitchen towel and sponge. There is a Keurig coffee maker and regular coffee maker. Some minor maintenance issues loose door handles faucets in bathroom need aerators one shower head needs replacement. Lots of towels and beach towels. Comfortable living room couch and love seat. Three TVs. Stairs to get to condo are easy to use even for an elderly woman. Would stay here again.

This condo was just perfect! Super clean and the beach decor was so cute. It contained everything we needed for our 3 night stay except coffee filters but I bought some and left them so future guests would have them too! Could use some mixing bowls but we made do as we cooked most of our meals. We were surprised to find life jackets for the kids, pool towels, and every kitchen gadget you could need. Both pools are very close to the unit and the beach is indeed just a brief walk away. The grounds and landscaping are absolutely beautiful! Definitely recommend staying here. Next time we would like an oceanfront property but we had zero complaints about this condo. Had a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time while visiting SPI. Our stay in you property was very relaxing. Although it was on the 3rd (and 4th) floors we didn’t feel it was an inconvenience. The close proximity to the pool and beach access was great.

As advertised
The location was as advertised which I really appreciate. There was plenty of space for me and my friends(6), and the location was perfect. Witching walking distance to Clayton’s beach bar, bar Louie, a cigar lounge and of course the beach! There is a nice big pool and hot tub which was very relaxing. I was able to communicate with the host very well but there were no issues. Overall a great stay!

Either I missed it or wasn’t mentioned in 1st description I read…was noted after I booked 3rd floor condo no elevator a lot of trips up and down..got good exercise not all bad.. Needs updates counter chairs and dining chairs throw out and cleaning crew needs pep talk... Top of frig doesn’t need to be cleaned??hadn’t been in a while.. Got a little cool couple nights upstairs BR no heat getting up there..over all condo stay was maybe a 3

The property grounds were well maintained the actual building needed some maintenance. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the doors looked like they had not been cleaned in a long time. There were stains of the sofa and rug indicating a deep clean would be good. But all appliances worked and the AC was great. The unit is very spacious and comfortable.
