Nice and decent summer house(actually, Father's Birthplace and HOME...), filled with Love, fully equipped and located at the wonderful, historical village of Milies, on mountain Pelion.
Excellent view to Pagasitikos Gulf, Parking space, and easy access from the central village road {Volos to Tsagkarada road (=Eparchiaki Odos Kalon Neron - Mileon Road) , very close to Korbas Bakery}.

~Ideal for Mountain&Sea_combination Lovers.
~Car is needed for optimum experience, but, Public Transportation(*) is also available(*ask).
~*****What cannot be described in words and has to be experienced, are the overwhelming feelings of peace, inner joy, restfulness, and empowerment that one gets when spending some days at my village Milies and the whole Pelion area~*****
~Pets are more than welcome, only if they are friendly and trained.

Remarks:
~Regarding the House: Important Notice: DO NOT DISCARD/flush PLASTIC, PAPER, OR any OTHER kind of THINGS IN THE TOILET, BECAUSE THE Draining SYSTEM WILL BE BLOCKED. Please, Use the provided Bins instead.
~ Wi-Fi is Free, but, Phone-calls are not available from the house phone.
~Certain very old furniture should not be used for sitting, as it is rather fragile and not safe for use. This will be explained to you upon arrival.
~Please smoke outside the House. Thank you.
~The Washing Machines could be used, but, specific times per stay, depending on the stay duration.
~All other details will be discussed on the spot and there will always be a person ( living in the next door apartment and) attending the House and, therefore, your eventual needs. Please however note that, according to the current local legislation, we cannot provide any additional services, as, -in front of our tax authorities-, we are only a ..."House".. ~ *BUT, Since Dreaming is, -still-, tax free, we can always Dream of becoming your Home, even for a while* :D ;)

Mountain Pelion in General:
Pelion stands out among the mountains of Greece. Although it is not especially high (its highest peak, Pourianos Stavros, measures 1624 m.), because of its geographical position collects a lot of snow in winter. This results in plenty of spring water, creating high potential for human settlement: Pelion is the most densely inhabited mountain of Greece. It also remains overgrown with vegetation, just as it was in antiquity, as mentioned in poems of Homer and Hesiod. Its position inbetween two seas, the Aegean sea and Pagasitic gulf, means that mountain and sea are always very close. Not many ski centers are only four hours of walking time away from a beach, like Pelion`s ski center at Hania.

This combination of mountain and sea, mythology and history, natural beauty and human works (old villages, monasteries, stone bridges, fountains, cobblestone paths), coupled with availability of both summer and winter touristical infrastructure and the presence of a large city nearby (Volos), is what makes Pelion so special. It is a paradise for walkers and nature lovers. Such is the multitude of its walking routes, that one can walk on a different route every day for three months and still have new walks to explore.
Near the sea or the mountaintop, in dense beech, chestnut and oak forest, mediterranean maquis vegetation or olive and apple orchards, lasting one up to eleven hours, circular or trekking from one village to another, Pelion has it all for everybody in terms of walking, except only for alpine zone at high altitudes. Skiing, mountain biking, canyoning, climbing, horseriding, diving, swimming, sailing, caving, all these activities and more are possible and take place in the Pelion area.

1) Korbas Bakery approx. 70m away (here, you will find fresh excellent bread, cheese bread, olive bread, pies, cookies, milk, ice-cream, juices, and all the basics you need to start and go through your day, food-wise...)
2)Milies Old Train Station, where you can get the experience of using the old train, walk around, see the Evaristo De Chirico Bridges/constructions, find the Old Station restaurant and small hotel : 600m away
3) Milies central Square where you can find the village's Taxiarches Old Church, the Old Historical Library("Psyches Akos"), Local Traditional Museum, a small, Kids Play*space, Police Station, Post Office, Mayor's House and several shops and, cafe-bars and restaurants(like : Aigli, Salkimi, Panorama, To Aedoni Kai to Rodi, Jim o'clock, Anna Na Ena Milo) and a well organized and up to date Pharmacy, plus a Doctor's office(which is however open only some days a week/*ask) : 800m away

4) At Milies, Horses are also available for renting, so that you may go Horseback-riding* (*ask*)

By car (or bus*ask):

1) Nearby Beaches: Koropi(Boufa) beach, Kala Nera Beach, Kalifteri Beach, Paradisos Beach, approx. 7 klm away, all of them at Pagasitikos Gulf. And Lampinou and Kalamaki beaches, also 7 to 10klm away, at the Agean Sea.
2)Vergonis super market at Boufa area: 7 klm away
3) Volos city: approx. 26 klm away

At Volos City you may find anything you need/wish, plus you may have a look at the Argo exact Replica at the Harbor.

Or you may get on a flying dolphin and visit any of the Sporades Islands you like.

At Volos, you may find a large public Hospital which is open 24/7, but,
if you wish to feel even safer you can go directly to the following Private Clinic, at very reasonable prices(have tried them myself and can guarantee their services and friendly prices):
