Room could do with an update, Bed was good and took a long time for hot water to come through. Good location, food was good and bar was good.

Room was not checked properly when previous guests left as we noticed the smoke alarm was covered with a shower cap when we walked in to the room. Reported to reception, but we did not feel comfortable removing it ourselves. Reception did ask if we were comfortable staying in the room but did not offer to send anyone up to remove it.

What a gem! Looked old and a little worn out from the outside of the building but that changed once we got inside and WOW. Amazing rooms with an amazing view of the city.

I booked this venue as it has a bar and a restaurant and gave easy access to airport for early morning flight after a great holiday in WA. When we arrived at reception we heard another client being told the hotel was booked out, yet ... the bar didn't open, the restaurant didn't open. There was no prewarning of these facilities being unavailable. The closest open bar and restaurant were a 2km walk away. If that wasn't bad enough, we couldn't sit straight on the toilet in our room as it is located too close to the shower screen! We won't stay there again and I don't recommend it to others.
