The front desk said she gave me the room which is more quiet. No, it’s not. The room is too close to Hwy80 and extremely noisy. I couldn’t sleep until well past 3am. When my wife and I went out for dinner, we stopped by the lobby to get some hot water, but we found the container is empty. We told the front desk about this, after we finished our dinner (around 2 hours later), we checked it again and it’s still empty. As for the breakfast, I noticed pieces of scrambled eggs still on the spoon that everybody used for food, but there is no scrambled eggs provided. I asked the lady when scrambled eggs will be ready again. The answer I got is their equipment just broke. Really? I just don’t believe it. We stayed in 7 different hotels around the same price for this 2 weeks trip. This hotel is the worst one out of the 7 hotels.

The last night of my stay, in my sleep, I started my period. When i woke i realized i had bled some on the sheet. I left the room at 11am check out and within 15 minutes received a call from House Cleaning Supervisor, stating that we had damaged property within the room, as in the linens wete damaged and irrepairable. They were going to charge my debit card 250.00 plus tax for a set of motel bed sheets! My spouse and I argued with them and requested a print out of the policy stating blood was considered property damage, especially valued at 250.00. We went back to get the policy documentation and on tge way they called back saying tgey were dropping the fee down to 100.00 plus tax.....seems awfulky fishy if you ask me. Anyway we got to motel and my husband went in to get documentation. He asked them why couldnt they remove the blood? Tgey sai they do not wash tgeir laundry in HOT water??? What? In this day and age with bed bug infestations all over the news, they arent using HOT water? Gross! Not to mention body fluids that arent visible. We definitely WILL NOT be staying here in future trips to Salt Lake City. Im disgusted. My husband has done housekeeping in motels, and nursing homes. Blood and other body fluids are definitely something he has encountered. There are products used by these facilities to remove body fluids, including blood! Otherwise at Ieast in nursing homes several sets of sheets per day would be thrown away!! I will be taking this up with their corporate!

Motel 6 for Holiday Inn prices
Extremely overpriced. It's clean ish, but the quality is on par with motel 6. Recently renovated rooms that still look beat up. Very much a lipstick on a pig situation, the outside literally looks derelict. The tub was broken, they threw down a mat to cover it up, rather than replacing the tub. Single ply horrible tp. The beds were the absolute cheapest they could possibly be with terrible, stained pillows. All this for $200 a night is insane.

Solid place to stay for last minute business trip. Clean recently refurbished room that was not fancy but comfortable. The only strange design was the elevator was all the way at the far end so a long walk. The stairs we more convenient.
