We have stayed at other hotels around the Southampton area but Moxy got a glowing report from all 4 who stayed. The hotel was everything you would want and expect from cleanliness through to a good nights sleep. Nice touch that the light under the bed comes on in the middle of the night when nature called.

Clean, smart room but far too hot. Aircon was not controllable in room had to turn off heating/aircon and open window. Traffic and noise from departing Westquay visitors too loud when window left open .

Competent and friendly staff. Rooms are small but adequate. No fridge or microwave. No real dining room but a bar area serving basic food. Great coffee machine making several kinds of coffee in AM was fun. Decor is quirky.

Awesome night before cruise
Nice modern clean. Close to cruise terminal which we walked to (about 20 minutes). Was too warm for sleeping and we were unable to adjust temp so just opened the window which was too loud. Would stay again for sure.

The outside temperature was 32F and the room was 75F. Too hot and no way to cool it off. Turned the thermostat down and the temp went up and stayed up. Too hot!!!!!

Very comfortable room, smallish but perfect for two. Excellent shower and lighting. 2 minute walk to West Quay shopping centre. Parking for hotel available in adjacent Patrons Car Park, limited spaces, suggest get there early. That said, parking available in multi-storey nearby, £7 overnight. £8 for Patrons Car Park. Would definitely return.

Great hotel for cruise passengers
Great location for west quay shopping centre. Great hotel for pre stay before a cruise as close to the terminals. Onsite parking but if full can park next door at shopping centre. Free welcome drink is nice touch. Lights under bed light up if going to the bathroom in middle of night. Very handy

I was able to check in early in the morning coming in on a red eye from the US for a cruise. I’m grateful that since a room was available, there was no hesitation to check us in upon arrival. We were going to store our luggage and explore, but were tired and took advantage of the hospitality.

Great location and decoration. Received a pleasant welcome from check in staff. Just about enough parking at the rear, which was convenient. The only slightly weird thing is that, having parked up,I then tried to check in at the Premier Inn next door (lack of signage). Otherwise, all good and I’ll definitely come again.
