The best thing about this hotel was the gentleman on reception, he was polite, and helpful telling me where the nearest restaurants were and supplying extra tea, milk and a hairdryer for the room.
Unfortunately the rest of the hotel was tired and shabby in places, the windows were cracked, the bed creaked with every movement, the matress was saggy, the pilliws were lumpy and it is the first time i have had the toilet in the shower cubicle!!!
The wash basin was by the bed. The wardrobe door wouldn't shut. There was constant noise till 3am from staff at the nearby weatherspoons dumping rubbish smoking and talking. There were even two people talking outside in the hotel carpark at 1am. Needless to say i will not be going again or reccomending it.
