Mystical Cottage in Southern Pines

A warm cozy guest house with an open floor plan, High ceilings, and a wall of glass doors overlooking the pool and jungle like backyard of 3 acres. It has a large separate bath and complete kitchen. It was a perfect place for a completely secluded getaway ... less than 2.5 miles from the center of both Southern Pines and the Village of Pinehurst... 8 minutes from nearly every restaurant in the area. We are pet friendly, but charge a seperate $35 pet cleaning pet

The space

What makes it unique is so close to everything and yet so secluded and jungle-like. It is perfect for gatherings and parties that can be booked as a separate event. I even had one of my son's Rehearsal Dinner there under a large tent in the back yard.

Guest access

In addition to the Cottage, guests have access to all of the grounds, including use of the pool and patio. On rare occasions, you may be sharing it with myself and family. If you wish exclusive access, that can also be arranged.

Interaction with guests

I am normally available 2 Meet the guests and enjoy sharing local knowledge of the best restaurants and places to go. But I understand if you want complete solitude.

Other things to note

Parking is as close as 15 Steps to the front door and secluded. mystical Cottage is pet friendly however the response has been so overwhelming that we are finding it necessary to charge an additional and separate pet cleaning fee of $35 if you have questions please give me a call.

If I needed to escape again in an adorable spot with great wi-fi, a couple of friendly dogs and a place to clear my mind near great golf - this is the lace to go. The pool was refreshing and the get away was a slice of heaven. Thank you Alan!

The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed (except the WiFi wasn’t working but we lived without it). The location was great. Very close to our friends and the golf courses we were playing.

Check in was great. Location is safe and the property is beautiful. Pool house was done very well. Everything you need and more. Just like the title says, it was clean and quiet, which is what we were looking for. Host was responsive, but let us alone to enjoy the property. We would definitely book again!

The cottage was quant and comfortable. The downside is the pool and outdoor space. The pool was dirty when we arrived. I asked Allen if anything was available to clean it. The cleaner was broken. He did go the next day and buy a cleaner for the pool. I did have to maintain the pool daily and sweep the leaves. While the landscape is lush with trees, the mosquitos are awful. It’s impossible to sit outside without getting attacked by them. I was a bit disappointed.

Great weekend stay
My husband and I stayed here for a weekend and love that we were able to bring our 2 dogs along as well. The property is beautiful and conveniently located, and the guest house was spacious, clean, and private. Host was very friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed chatting with him as well!

Very relaxing at a great value
Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful time. The rental property was situated next to the pool but separate from the much larger home. So not a lot of privacy if that's a concern. But overall it was a great property at an even better value. The house that we stayed in was very nice. It had a full kitchen with pots and pans, a large dining room table, and a comfortable sitting area next to the TV. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of natural light will gently wake you up in the morning. Bring your sleep mask if that's not your thing. We were very appreciative of the owner and his visitors that helped direct our food delivery drivers who ignored our instructions to come back to the pool. We'd recommend this home for your next stay in Southern Pines.
