This was the worst hotel stay ever. We evacuated for hurricane Milton. Manager said we couldn’t have a dog…governor said mandatory evacuation you can bring your pets and not be refused service. Then we see bitbull with a man who looks like he lives at the hotel. Next day we see lots of dogs. States exercise room, no exercise room. Pool was so gross…green and full of algae. Free breakfast was a joke, those that live there on a regular basis get to the table early and pick over everything. Then stand there and cough over the food. On-site restaurant never opened on time. The room was dirty and the furniture was old and falling apart. The smell of marijuana littered the halls. I can’t prove it but I think young children were left in a room alone based on what I heard walking the halls and what I saw. I walked the halls because there was no where to exercise. This is a dirty hotel and should not be advertised on Expedia. I didn’t read reviews, my mistake I just wanted to find a room out of harms way. I didn’t feel safe at this hotel. I didn’t feel safe inside or outside of the hotel. The staff was unprofessional and not friendly. Do not book a room at this hotel!!

Property is undergoing changes and is not in prime operating conditions. I was assigned an already occupied room and offered a different room reservation other than the one I had reserved online, including a room without a/c and without an active phone line.

Our stay here was a disaster from the start. We arrived for a convention that had been planned for 8 months. Check in started at 3, so we arrived at 3:15. There were no clean rooms available, se we, along with around 50 other people had to wait for rooms to be cleaned. Two hours later and some very irate gueats trying to check in, they finally started issuing rooms. However, they didn't start with the order in which people had been waiting, they were calling names randomly from a sheet of paper, so some people were called up to the desk had only been there 15 minutes, bypassing others that had been in line for hours. The hotel is under renovation, so the 4th floor was a complete disaster. People that were issed rooms on that floor immediately came down to cancel their room and left. There were complaints of no air conditioning in the rooms and an extremely foul odor. It was described as cat urine. The second floor was worse. The hotel assured the convention planners the hotel would be fully renovated by the time the convention started, but it was far from it

The white couches in lobby visibly stained. The room had filthy carpet. The room smelled moldy. Dirty walls in the room with holes. grease soiled chair. One elevator only worked. The pool was slimy and green complete with frogs. Basically the hotel was in disrepair and trashed. However, Staff was pleasant . Hotel seemed to be in the beginning of renovation. Wait until renovated.

This place is going through renovations the elevators do not work. They put me on a fourth floor, where there was no toilet tissue in the bathroom. It was paint on the floors, and it was pee in the stairway. The breakfast was laughable, unclean, looking cereal cases and a gallon of milk. Only booked this place if you are desperate

The air conditioning was not working, we were provided a large fan in the room that helped. The toilet was not flushing , toilet run over at one point . Three out of five toilets in the lobby restrooms was not flushing very well, very slow and would fill almost to top , No paper in the 5 toilets on Sunday morning at 9am. Desk Clerk gave me a roll of paper , i was aftraid to use my toilet in my room for fear it would run over.

The outside of the property was nice but the inside was horribly nasty. First of all the AC wasn’t working and the staff failed to mention it while checking in; they put me in a room where there was a non working television. There was mold and nasty filth on the bed skirt of the bed and mold and filth behind the nightstand. The sockets were covered and surrounded by heavy dust flurries and my allergies wouldn’t even let me stay there. While showering the bathroom light went completely out so I had to use the flashlight on my phone. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I would never go here again. Wish I could upload my pictures that I took. Don’t let the outside fool you like it did me. I slept in my car til I was able to get another room the next day.

Clean and comfortable room. However there is a nightclub/restaurant on the property that brought an interesting crowd. There were many people just hanging out for hours in the parking lot. When I went to grab something at the convenience store, I walked past a man urinating against the building between two cars.

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!
When we arrived, the lounge/restaurant that was attached to the hotel was having an event that caused the entire parking lot to be packed and have guests, not staying at the hotel drunk and wandering the parking lot and through the lobby. The lobby seems to be one of the very few "renovated" areas that is pictured on the site. The second floor, where we were placed was trashed. When we got to our room there was vomit on the floor in front of our door. I called the front desk, in which the woman scoffed at me and responded with "I guess I can send someone to clean it up." There were other guests hanging out, outside of our room until 1am. The next morning we came out to towels being thrown over the vomit. When I went to the front desk, I again explained what had happened and requested that we be moved to one of the renovated rooms that was pictured on their site when reserving the room. The woman told us, they couldn't do that and it was an extra charge.. They refused to "upgrade" us to a renovated room $3 difference a night from what I see, the refused to move us to a different room at all and the absolute best they could do was refund us so we didn't have to stay there for a second night! Oh and all this was handled through TEXTING her manager!!! While some other guest stood there and hit on in me in line in the lobby!!!!!! FYI the vomit was still on the floor at 11:30a while house keeping walked over it!
