Old school charm
This is not your bog standard chain, it's a delightful old building (previously a school) with lots of character and charm. The stunning dining room would not look amiss on a film set. I loved the spacious senior classroom and its perks (coffee, soft drinks in mini bar, crisps), check out at 12.00 was a bonus. A big thank you to Mohammed who swiftly and graciously resolved an issue.

Small hotel in a good location, didn’t particularly feel like 5 star but generally good across the board. When I go to the bar to order a drink I don’t really want a tip automatically added though!

What an amazing hotel! Just wow! Everything from arriving to leaving was just fabulous! The building is unreal and has been restored very sympathetically. The decor is outstanding - you can literally spend ages just looking at the ceilings, the lights, the stair cases! The rooms are impressive and generous in size with no expense spared in furnishings! I’m not sure I would want to stay anywhere else in London after this experience. Great location. Staff very professional but friendly. We ate in the restaurant once and the food was out of this world. We will be back! 😊

Amazing hotel, very luxurious feel. Staff very accommodating. My only criticism (personal preference) the pillows were too soft for us but would be amazing for those who like them! Definitely, will be revisiting!

Incredible property just a few minutes from the Tower Bridge. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the rooms are well stocked & clean - and even have a warmed toilet seat & bathroom floors. I mentioned it was my birthday, and they had the most delicious (big) chocolate cake ready for me in the room and a beautiful hand written card. I can't wait to stay there again soon, and I highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel!

Great place to stay, will stay again.
The building is beautiful along with the interior. Breakfast was delicious, we had the indian breakfast to try an alternative to the usual. We booked a senior classroom, it was very spacious. Room number 305 has a perfectview of the Shard. 2 mins walk takes you to the tower bridge.

A diamond in the rough
Amidst the hustle and bustle of London Bridge is a gem of a boutique hotel, The Lalit. The old school has been transformed into fabulous high ceilinged bedrooms and a must see dining room: the restoration has done this building proud. On a boiling hot and sticky day in London the accommodation provided an oasis of calm, noise free and air conditioned. I loved it.

Amazing haven right in the centre of london
Fabulous from checking in to checking out, the staff are amazing, our room was phenomenal, the breakfast was so nice, and to be able to go and sit outside on their terrace with our morning coffee afterwards was a lovely touch

Wonderful property! The hotel is located in an old grammar school. We loved the location of the hotel as it was near the tower bridge and tower of London. It was also less than a 10 minute walk to the London bridge station which allows easy access to everywhere in London we wanted to go. The hotel offers air conditioning which was a must in August. Would highly recommend a stay.
