The air conditioner was not working in 34 degrees! We could not sleep. We told them and they said they’ll fix it and it was marginally better during the next day but again at night it was merely a fan… terrible experience. There is no place to safely store luggage and the check out was at 10!

Beautiful Split
The hotel was perfectly situated within the Diocletian Palace and within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the sea front. The hotel itself was pretty unique in decor style and had a roof top terrace where you could sit and enjoy some amazing views. The queen-size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. A few shortcomings, the mini fridge was not working, the hand shower was missing a head (this was rectified after reporting the fault) and the safe had to be reset in order for it to work. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Location and charm
Our room was fantastic and charming, with all the eccentricities you’d expect from a small boutique hotel inside a walled city. This was our second stay and we had a much better room with more light and more space. Each room is unique so choose carefully. Lovely rooftop was a great spot for a glass of one of the delicious Croatian wines and some snacks.

I feel like this property was rated wrong on Expedia. Our local drivers and guide seemed really shocked that we were staying there. The beds were really hard and uneven and our room did not even have a shower we could only take a bath

Amazing hotel!! Fantastic location
Absolutely amazing hotel, beautiful rooms, friendly staff and such a lovely rooftop terrace which has fantatic views. This hotel is also in a perfect location as it's right next to many restaurants, lovely squares and Split Riva. 100% would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!!

The hotel is a beautiful and unique property. Reception staff super friendly and helpful. Because of its age, it doesn’t have an elevator to reach the first floor so you have to climb some stairs but after that, there’s an elevator that services the rest of the building.The reception staff did assist with bags going up to the first floor which was very nice. There’s a nice terrace on top where you can enjoy drinks with an amazing view of the old town. Rooms are spacious, had all the amenities you’d expect for a 4star hotel. Only problem with the room I had (103) was the bathroom door would not close easily. From a quick observation, the splash back from the shower water drenches the door making it swell up, not allowing it to close. At times it felt like I was going to break the door when trying to open it. But the reason I only gave it 4stars was because of the maid service. They only come in to make the bed and maybe add a toilet roll to the bathroom. The floor and bathroom sink never seemed to get cleaned. Another thing that annoyed me was that they replaced the cup I put my toothbrush in, but they left my toothbrush on top of the toilet… I threw my toothbrush out, super unsanitary. They took away the shower mat which then made the floor all wet because the shower doesn’t have a great shower screen and they took away our hand towels and never replaced them. Overall great hotel, would stay again because amazing location. Just need better maid staff.

Terrific location one minute from oceanfront promenade yet tucked into a quiet corner. The rooftop terrace provides amazing views of the city - perfect for watching the sunset with a bottle of wine.😊

This was a very unique property with lots of history. We heard stories of noise issues from restaurants below, but we didn’t experience any issues. Everyone slept well. Location cannot be beat. So close to everything. Some rooms had showers and some had bathtubs with hand showers so if this is an an issue, be sure to ask.

The location of this hotel is great, but if you arrive with heavy luggage, it’s a challenge to get up 2 flights of stairs to get to the elevator. It’s also noisy because of the restaurant next door. Other things that I wasn’t pleased with was that there were some small ants on the floor of my room and that the room wasn’t made up after the first day. I thought even boutique hotels had daily housekeeping.

Wonderful Boutique Hotel
Lovely hotel centrally located in old town and walking distance to all major attractions. Many restaurants close by and the promenade is only one block away. Very friendly staff. Make sure to check out the view from the roof top terrace.

Great location! No parking on-site.
The PERFECT location in a beautiful city! Check-in was a easy process and room was clean. On the hotel.com website and app, it lists that there is parking at this hotel, but there is not so be prepared to pay for parking in a public lot. We were fortunate enough to get a room with a balcony which was nice. Rooms need some updating though. A fresh paint job would do this place wonders!
