The fact the maid expected a "tip". We were there 4 nights, she made the bed once, emptied trash can once, could not even fold replacement towels, threw them on toilet bowl or by coffee machine.

The outside looks like it needs fixing but inside it looks okay. The rooms were great! The bed was so comfortable. So close to many dining place. Staff was great.

I selected this property over the others near I-44, based upon the very positive reviews and reasonable price. It easily beat my expectations in every way, and the breakfast was especially varied and good. I will definitely stay there on my next trip through Springfield.

Soon as i walked in not only was i treated like the unwanted step child the young lady receptionist wanted to charge me a $15. Fee for checking in 1hr early then they charged me$250 above the charge of the room because I live less than 50 miles from location, then charge me another $200 for the deposit. Worst experience ever. I will never stay at another Baymont by Wyndham ever again because of this.
