SHOULD HAVE GONE WITH FIRST CHOICE
THE SPA WAS OUT OF ORDER AGAIN, BUT WHEN I SPOKE WITH SOMEONE PRIOR TO BOOKING THEY SAID IT WAS INDEED WORKING. THEY ARE KNOWN FOR THE LEMON WATER IN THE LOBBY, WHEN CHECKED IN NOTICED THE PLACEMENT WAS THERE BUT NO WATER.. 3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS. NONE. I MENTIONED IT TO STAFF TWICE BUT THEY JUST CHUCKLED AND WENT ON. THE AC WAS SET ON 75 WHEN WE ARRIVED, DROPPED IT DOWN TO 65 AS IT WAS VERY HOT IN THE ROOM, BOTH NIGHTS IT WAS REALLY UNCOMFORABLE AND HOT IT NEVER GOT COOL. THE HOTEL AS A WHOLE WAS EXTREMLY HOT AND MUGGY.

Good road side hotel. Couple of very minor niggles although there was a sign saying spa not working. If you are going to do microwave oatmeal, have a microwave in the breakfast room. Otherwise would certainly use it again if needed.

I would give this a good review except: We had noticed that it’s not the best kept, and the spa was out which is one reason we booked here rather than elsewhere …but we aren’t horribly picky. All was going well- until this morning. My daughter say “um- water is dripping from the circling in the bathroom. We look- it appears water is dripping from ceiling which is where floor above was showering- we could hear it! Gross! So when we used our shower…. We had remnants of water from the shower above. We didn’t know until we saw it happen and then didn’t use further. We told them at check out and no offer to reimburse a bit or anything.

Good hotel for a one night stay.
Overall, it's a good hotel. The morning staff was wonderful and helpful, but the staff when I checked in seemed like they wanted me to get to the hotel room and leave them alone. The handicap ramp to get into the side of the hotel would not open with the room key, which would of helped me if it did open. We had to go through the main lobby and a long walk for a disabled person. The morning staff was good and cared about us.

I was very disappointed with our stay. The ice maker was out of service. The hot tub was out of order. The door to our room didn't close/latch, so we had to get a new room. The bathroom door had a lock, but it didn't work. Then entire hotel smelled like wet dog, and the floors, even carpet, were sticky. I refused to walk barefoot in the room. Everything was outdated and in disrepair.

For the amount of money we spent, we expected a better room knowing the area and other hotels around. We were on the ground level and once we got off of the elevator it was hot and stuffy in the hall. The room wasn’t any better with a musty smell. With a half way working AC until, stained bed comforters, chocolate covered light bulb, bathroom walls with holes in them and it looked like the bathroom walls were ready to fall apart from moisture, the hotel needs some major updates and maintenance.
