The staff was friendly and helpful. The main lobby for the main building is beautiful along with the resteraunt. The hotel is divided into 2 buildings with a dimly lit alley in between. Check in time begins @4pm. Had to walk my family through the alley at dusk to our room. Our beds were low to the ground due to not having box springs/contemporary frame. Very firm mattress. Showered around 9pm and had to pre cool the shower nearly 20 minutes; meaning had the water on maximum cold temperature but the water coming out was unbearably hot. There is a common area on the upper floor for social events/open to the public on this second edition of the hotel that also made quite a bit of noise Saturday. If you are looking for a contemporary social gathering hotel then this will be a good fit. If you are wanting a luxury hotel to rest with your family, I would look elsewhere considering the high price.

What a beautiful hotel and so modern, yet comfortable. With so many of the new modern hotels, they focus all of their efforts on the public spaces and the rooms feel like dorm rooms, not at Hotel V. It is nicely designed, and makes you feel completely at home.

Hotel lobby is very nice. Our bathroom floor was filthy. We only had three towels. The next day we did not get housekeeping or clean towels. We called down for our car. When we went down to leave the car was there but the valet was not. We had to wait fifteen minutes for our keys.

The hotel is a very stylish boutique hotel in the heart of Springfield MO. Great character, exceptional service, terrific menu and extensive bar. Highly recommend!

Very nice boutique hotel located in a historic downtown masonic bldg. The room was clean and sleekly furnished; it had a super high ceiling and a large bathroom. Wonderful bar and lobby. Didn’t try the restaurant (it was booked for the night). Staff was extra friendly and accomodating. Would stay here again! Parking was free but the lot felt a bit unsecure. Neighborhood is walkable, near the Springfield Museum and several cozy bars and eateries. The hotel is 1.6 miles from the historic (and spoooky) Commercial District which has fun stores and unique eating places, including the oldest tavern in Springfield.

The room was not very clean. There was an unknown sticky appearing fluid in the bedside drawer, brown splashes on the wall near the trash and some debris on the floor near the edges of the room in places. The bathroom and bed were clean with fresh linens. This was a disappointment overall for obvious reasons since I booked this specifically at the higher price point expecting to have a clean, fresh hotel to stay in for my work trip.
