We had to lug our luggage up the stairs because there was no elevator. The desk clerk did offer to help. The hotel does look nice outside. Continental breakfast was basic but fresh.

In mid July we stayed in Room 114, which was great. Quiet, despite being near the highway, good AC, reasonable breakfast, pleasant staff. All round good. We stayed there again in early August in Room 115. This room's AC unit was incredibly noisy, rattling all night, waking us up, keeping us awake. We mentioned this to the staff the next morning. They said they'd look into it.

Room was clean and conveniently located. Room was pretty dated - carpet and comforters have been updated, but a lot of the fixtures need to be replaced as they are rusted (a lot of brass that has lived it's life). Would stay there again though :)

Great place to stay
I love this place. It is our second time staying here. The room we had this year seemed a bit smaller than last. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good even though there was no hot food prepared.

Room was clean. If you like 1980 decor you will love this place. The mattress was like sleeping in chunky mashed potatoes. We requested a different bed and room at any level to Chet a firm mattress due to health reasons and the request was not granted. Breakfast is continental. Would not stay here again.

Seems to be recently renovated, impressively so. The rub is in that the room air conditioner (room 212) made so much noise that we didn’t sleep much at all. Upon checking out I told the clerk about that (and that the deadbolt on room didn’t latch). She shrugged. Period. Shame that they poured money into making it pretty but forgot the importance of guests being able to sleep. Btw, the breakfast was cheaped out lousy.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Granite Town Hotel in St. George. The staff were very kind, friendly, hospitable. Having a splash pad and park within walking distance was great for my 5 year old. We were very impressed with the layout and decor in our King Suite. We will definitely stay again.
