This was our second time staying here at The Pearl. We brought our grandchildren and 2 dogs with us this time. Great location just south of St. Augustine in the Butler Beach area. 1 block away from the beach and board walk access. Location, location, location! Close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood. Original eclectic Florida beach home for your family and pups! There is so much to do in St. Augustine and the surrounding history laden area. The neighborhood is tucked away close to Highway A1A. Beauty in Butler Beach

My wife and I stayed here for a week and it was great. Property is clean, comfortable and exactly as advertised. Property owner was very, very helpful and communicative, and it was an extremely relaxing place to stay. Highly recommended!

Weekend getaway for married couple. “The Pearl” cottage was very clean, comfortable, and fresh-smelling. A/C worked well and plenty of hot water. Loved how all the switches were labeled. Loved that they had luggage racks and dressers to store clothes. Front porch was extremely convenient since it rained off and on for a lot of our visit. Short 5 min walk to beach. Public access to drive on beach (4wd only) was nearby. Plenty of places to eat in area (Sunset Grille, Mango Mango’s, Parlor Donuts). Publix is just down the street. Quiet neighborhood. Nice backyard w/hose and outdoor shower (not enclosed), good for rinsing off beach sand.

Quaint Cottage

Wonderful stay at the Pearl. The cottage is as advertised, super cozy and loved the little details like shiplap walls, stained glass, and succulent gardens. We loved how close it was to the beach and historic St. Augustine, and loved that the beach is dog friendly as we brought our pup with us. Owners will very responsive and it’s clear they value their renters and take care of their home. Had all the basic amenities and loved the fenced in backyard! We will back!

Perfect name for such a gem of a home! My Mornings on the front porch listening to the ocean waves and the birds was so very peaceful! Very clean. Beautifully decorated. Everything we needed. Our hostess was super accommodating and welcoming. We will be back!!

We loved our stay at the Pearl! It was casual and relaxing and a quick walk to the beach. The house had everything we needed and we loved that we could bring our dog and walk to the beach so easily. Would definitely stay again!

Thanksgiving Getaway

Y’all have a great place. Very cozy. Everything in the house worked perfectly. Very comfortable beds. Great shower. Perfectly located for what we wanted to go. Our dog loved your backyard. The Pearl is only about 2 hours from us, so we’d like to come back. We had our Thanksgiving meal at O.C. White’s, highly recommend it.

Great place and so close to the beach

My daughter and I visited St.Augustine for a concert at the Ampitheater (beautiful place!), and rented the Pearl for 2 nights. The home is lovely, the back yard is very spacious, the area is quiet, it's near the Amp, and is a very short (2 minute), walk to the beach. We hope to stay at the Pearl again in the near future!

Cute and convenient

Enjoyed the cottage which felt authentic and was nicely decorated. Way better than a condo. Perfect for our family of four since the 2nd bedroom had two single beds. Could have used some actual soap and shampoo in the shower and sponge for the kitchen. Access to a nice portion of the beach which was relatively uncrowded.

Great location to the beach.

Easy walk to the walkover to the beach. Grocery stores close, restaurants and a Hallmark store. Mellow Mushroom was great for a big family get together. Osteen's was great without the long wait between 2-3pm. Already booked for next year. Have been coming to the island since the 80's to rent.

We LOVE The Pearl!

This is our second stay at The Pearl. My husband and I brought our two older teens and their two friends. The Pearl is in a quiet neighborhood, with easy, quick access to the beach. I love the decor and how comfortable it is. And this year, my parents, sister, and brother with his family rented The Mermaid next door! It worked out perfectly. We just kept the back doors unlocked and fence door between them open during the day, and it was easy to just bop back and forth between the two houses for meals and games and general hang out time. My mom was ready to book the houses for next summer! Also, I can’t forget to mention the porches and great yards. Much time was spent drinking coffee, playing chess, and chatting on the front porches of both houses. Really, really grateful for a fantastic vacation, and will probably be back! We were unable to bring our dogs this year, but last time we brought our cockapoo, and it was great to have the fenced in back yard for him- it does get too hot for walks during the day. And I must mention that we did not have any reason at all to contact the owner this trip- everything was great- but last time the wind blew over an umbrella and broke it, and Deborah was extremely quick to respond and incredibly nice. You can tell the owners want you to have the best time possible :)

PERFECT at the PEARL!!!

What an amazing vacation and house for my wife and I and our pup, Cooper. This vacation rental had everything we needed. Deborah and George have preserved this Old Florida style beach house and added their own personal touches to make it one of kind! From the relaxing front porch, huge, beautiful tiled bathroom shower, comfortable bed, relaxing living room, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer and large fenced backyard for us and our pup, Cooper. The beach was a 1 block walk, around the corner and straight shot to the beach. Beautiful walk on what looks to be a brand new public wooden walkway over the sand dunes and right out to Butler Beach and beautiful sunrises! Thank you for sharing your home, Deborah and George, and letting us create new memories.
