Charming guest house walking distance to all that downtown St Augustine has to offer. Built in 2017, this one bedroom, one bath, 500 SF apartment is located above our garage to accommodate guests in their own private setting. This property is an easy walk to both Uptown and Downtown St Augustine attractions. There are many restaurants just a short walk away including River and Fort, Raintree, Juniper Market, Borillo s pizza, Luli s cupcakes, and Mojos BBQ just to name a few.
This property includes a king size bed, 12 foot ceilings, ceiling fans, central heat & air, endless hot water on demand, 2 large screen smart TVs and high speed WIFI (download speed over 400mbps).
Enjoy your own private entry to this upstairs apartment (approx 20 steps) with reserved, on site parking. This property does not have cable TV. The smart TVs have antenna reception which provides a hi def picture and receives all the major networks.
The kitchen does not include a range. There is a built in microwave, toaster oven and a griddle.
Downtown St. Augustine is best navigated on foot. Bicycles are not recommended as there are no safe provisions made for them on the roads or sidewalks.

Great Experience
It is a great location to stay if you are wanting to walk around St Augustine. Driving and parking uptown is a bit crazy and something we wanted to avoid. The property is close enough to town to comfortably walk but far enough to not be noisy. The property is very well taken care of and clean.

Perfect Rental Experience
I have rented many places over the years and this place takes the #1 spot. Melody and Alli were welcoming and happy to have us. The thought and attention to detail they put into this space and your rental experience is top notch. We were a short walk to the heart of historic St Augustine. We were able to walk to all attractions and restaurants. In a 4 night stay we only moved the car once and that was to drive to the lighthouse and beach on our last day.

Charming and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Touches
My husband and I recently stayed at this property and had a fantastic experience! The place is so cute and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Beautiful cozy modern retreat!
I booked the Uptown Shack as a surprise for my husband's birthday. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the historic downtown area. The hosts were amazing, providing great local recommendations. Every detail was very well thought out. Wonderful place in great location
The “shack” is far from it! Spotless, sunny and comfortable, ii is the perfect place to lay your travel weary head. Short walk from everything in Old St. Augustine. And the special touches of home made cookies, copious bottled waters and other beverages, and even mini toiletries to fill in what you may have forgotten! So thoughtful, it is one of the most pleasant rentals we have ever stayed in-and we have stayed in MANY rentals. Thank you Melody and Ali!

The photos do not do Uptown Shack justice. We couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations. Every detail was addressed from linens to snacks to ease of access to everything downtown. I have already given the information to several of my friends and told them this place is over the top with amenities and upgrades. Thanks again for letting us visit.

Excellent comunication with the proerty manager, profesionalism, attention to detail and generosity. Great water pressure, quiet and peaceful, comfortable and clean. Nice air condition. Modern decor, high ceilings. The unit doesn't have a stove but who wants to cook when there are so many wonderful selections to eat out. Full amenities. Only 15 minute walk to the cetral town área, restaurants and coffee shops, attractions and shopping. The Property Manager gave us wonderful recommendations according to our dietary needs. Oh, so good! Parking available for your vehicle (1). Nice neighborhood! The directions can be a little intimidating, but thorough and easy to follow.

We stopped at the Uptown Shack for a.short two day stay. It was very clean, well stocked, and convenient to downtown restaurants and tour destinations. We were able to walk to everything except to thw lighthouse. Melody left a plate of delicious homemade cookies, gift card for a scoop of ice cream and coffee. She even had an umbrella and beach towels! Her restaurant suggestions were great. We ate at Columbia and The Floridian. Would highly recommend Uptown Shack.
