I wanted to write this review today to make the public aware. I paid for a reservation through an online provider and upon checking in that there is not a convenience charge. No mention that they were charging my card twice for the same room. This has happened to me before with private owners and it is nothing else but intentional. You have to spend months getting back your money that was intentionally stolen from you. I just want to make the public aware and wish I could prosecute owners like this because they always say the same thing, " we are sorry, it was a mistake!" You are a liar and thieves. And the hotel stinks and smells like ammonia throughout.

My fiancé and I had a good overall experience, did not partake in the complimentary breakfast, but facility was clean and was conveniently located. Staff also was very friendly and helpful and always available when I needed anything for the room. Overall Good experience.

This property suited my needs. Unfortunately I did not know they had just shampooed the rugs and the entire place was very wet feeling and none of the windows opened. We changed to another room with out a rug and it was better but not by much. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Service was excellent but the facility does need updating.

The location of this property is not at all what Expedia advertised. I drove to The advertised address to find another hotel completely (this cost me 1 hour of travel time!) When I finally found the hotel in the third try, it was nowhere near the venue I needed and nowhere near historic downtown as advertised. Absolutely terrible not to mention dangerous and illegal for you to do this.

This hotel in the common areas is OK although our room was dirty unswept with dust and dust balls in every corner a big hole behind the bathroom door the door itself was all chipped with paint missing along with the furniture in the same condition the lamps were all dirty and rusty i would never stay at this property again and do not recommend
