Since our room was so called "Dog friendly ", we didn't get daily house cleaning and were told we had to go to customer service desk or find cleaning personnel to ask for towels. They did tell my wife it is in the policy to not go into rooms with dogs. Room had no dog bed or bowls like they said it would. Just a regular room with 2 queen size beds. Check in was 4pm but didn't receive our rooms until 5:20pm. Not happy with our stay and won't be going back.

I liked it all. Clean room, nice shower with the shower head up high (I am 6 ft 3). Easy plug in for HDMI to TV. Breakfast was awesome. Hot food was plated for us with great choices. Grits were the best.

Best for dog owners!
It was so comfortable having dog park here. The breakfast buffet was also impressive. They make the warm items from scratch. Our room location was right by the street so it was kind of noisy. You could hear cars, train passing, people talking, etc. I also recommend replacing existing bright light day light builds in the room with more warm white to create more smoothing environment. They are so bright and no dimmer. Thanks for having us.

Nikki at the front desk was super informative. She provided excellent recommendations for activities and meals. The shuttle into town was very convenient. We requested a room in a quieter area and we got it. The breakfast was decent.

Humble but great with dogs
After reading some of the other reviews after booking, I was nervous and skeptical. But upon our stay, we were very pleasantly surprised. We were traveling with our dog and were on the side of the dog park. The rooms were nothing to write home about but it was a place to sleep after exploring town and walking around for Nights of Lights. The hotel supplied a dog bed and bowls. The bed came in very handy as our little guy took advantage of it. They even let him ride the shuttle with us and were extremely accommodating. Would likely stay again if we were to visit another time.

I have stayed here twice before this time and enjoyed it. This time, however, our room was extremely humid and stuffy. Our clothes and other items were damp it was so humid. I’m not sure what the deal was. The breakfast was not as good as usual either. It was cold and not fresh. I love this hotel’s dog friendly atmosphere, but I was not impressed this time.

Quaint hotel with updated rooms and free breakfast in a convenient location. Our room wasn’t ready at check in, so we were upgraded to Deluxe Room right away. Would definitely book again.
