Beautiful home with stunning views! Breathtaking! We had the privilege of staying at two separate houses while on St.John. This is allowing us to compare between the two properties and amenities as well. The home was a steep drive on partially dirt roads. Highly recommend having a jeep wrangler or 4x4 /better to get up the terrain. Two bedrooms on main floor, twin beds in lower level. Kids were too scared to stay down there, didn't know there was a lower level. Faces east so gorgeous sunrises. All the amenities you could need. Only thing missing was wash cloths for face in bathrooms. Towels were clean and great quality. Could have had additional wash rag for kitchen sink. Other feedback is grill had empty propane tank so we couldn't grill out. Overall, amazing stay, great neighbors next door. Helle communicated quickly and provided thorough directions. Highly recommend this home!

We loved this house at the top of the hill! It is simply furnished with everything you need and an unbelievable view! There is even a hiking trail just down the road. At the bottom of the hill before you turn to go to the house is a small grocery so you can easily resupply for your beach and hiking adventures. We will be back!

This house had the most amazing view - especially for sunrises! It was safe for our kiddos (11 months and almost 3 years old) too. Communication w/ the host was very easy. Highly recommend!

Sitting high above it all
Wingspan is an apt name for this thoughtfully designed house with what may be one of the greatest views there is, of Coral Bay and the Sir Francis Drake passage, and the British Virgin Islands in the distance. It’s an extremely comfortable house with nothing you don’t need and almost everything you do (except hand towels and a dish sponge, but those were minimal oversights and easily remedied). The owner was very communicative and friendly, though no welcome message ever materialized, explaining things like trash, shopping, restaurants, etc., or where the lock box was located. Fortunately we knew about most of those things but it was still a challenge finding the place in the dark. This must be one of the best located villas on the island, with absolute privacy and quiet. It’s a fairly rough drive up the hill, but that is true of most of the best villas. I would certainly return and appreciated everything about this lovely home.

Large vacation home with stunning view!
This was a wonderful home for our family vacation! The house had a great layout for our family of 5, and was even more spacious than expected. The view was spectacular, and we loved sitting on the porch for morning coffee. The amenities are a bit dated, but very sufficient. You absolutely need a jeep to access the house. Due to flight changes we arrived at night, and it was rather difficult to find, with a challenging drive up the hill (but the directions provided with photos were very helpful!). Once there, we were thrilled and had a fantastic time exploring the quieter beaches on this side of the island. Would recommend!

Great Stay!
This is an awesome property! My family stayed here for 6 days and it was hard for us to leave. First the view of the east end and BVI’s is so breathtaking. Every morning and every evening we sat on the deck in just awe. The home is a good size as are the bedrooms, kitchen and living area. It was well equipped with kitchen needs however I would suggest if you’re wanting to cook you may want to purchase your own spices including salt/pepper. Pots/pans, plates, cutlery etc where all there. There is not air in the home but it was not needed at all. There was a constant breeze from the Tradewinds and kept the home cool at all times. This was our first time staying in coral bay and we loved it. Just as close to all the beaches as Cruz (imo) and still lots of dining options. To make this an honest review I do want to note a couple things. The home itself is amazing but it is a little tired feeling. A lot of the screens are ripped so there were some bugs (although dead) on counter tops and around the window areas. I am not sure if this was due to not having any renters before us for some time or if this was fault of the cleaning crew. The beds were not the most comfortable and the pillows were basically non existent. Things like the bed skirting did not look clean however the bed sheets and bedding did feel clean. Overall the home could use a deep clean, some updates on bedding and a exterior bug spray down. I do feel like these were minor to an overall great stay but I also think worth mentioning. Lastly Helle, was amazing to work with. All my questions were answered promptly and she let us know that she would be available by phone upon arrival should we have any issues getting to the home. We appreciated that very much!

Great place
Such a beautiful spot! It was bigger than we expected. Helle was super helpful and responsive. Would recommend 1) bringing drinking water 2) not arriving after dark as it would be hard to find. Definitely need a jeep to get up the driveway.
