Mango Mojo Villa is an elegant penthouse condo with soaring cathedral ceilings, sweeping open water views and hilltop breezes.  Exquisitely renovated in 2016, this spacious, well designed, and thoughtfully appointed condo has an open concept great room with a full gourmet kitchen, 3 private bedrooms and 3 full baths, generous dining table that comfortably seats 8, and in unit laundry facilities.  Two private balconies offer a spectacular shady perch for watching breathtaking sunsets, brilliant starry skies, glittering cruise ships at night on their way to southern ports of call, and ferries as they traverse in and out of Turner Bay.  Mango Mojo is located on the top floor of Mango Terrace Villas, a quiet boutique property with only 6 units, a private sparkling saltwater pool with more beautiful views, lush landscaping, and one off street parking spot per unit. The entire complex enjoys a backup generator in the event of an interruption in power service.

The main bedroom boasts a king size four poster bed, en suite full bath and private balcony; a second suite has two queen beds and en suite full bath; and the guest room has one queen bed and private full bath.  All are equipped with high quality cool cotton bedding, plush towels, HD flat screen TVs, ceiling fans, and ample closet and dresser storage.

The unit is luxuriously furnished, with the comfort of central A/C and ceiling fans throughout; or open the abundant windows and enjoy the cool prevailing trade winds.  The great room has comfortable, flexible seating, a 67" HDTV with DVD player, Chromecast and cable service, numerous games and books.  The spacious gourmet kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and is perfect for entertaining.  Complimentary WIFI.

Enjoy coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening on the breezy great room balcony, with its comfortable lounge furniture and bar. A gas grill completes the scene...grill up some fresh caught local fish or protein of your choice!

Beach towels, chairs, cooler and noodles provided.

Walk 5 minutes down to Turner Bay or Frank Bay beaches, where you can swim and snorkel in the warm Caribbean water and snare lobster for dinner. Some of the world’s most beautiful beaches are a short drive or taxi ride away. Or choose to hike the many miles of trails that thread through the lush hills, valleys and beaches of the Virgin Islands National Park, which comprises 70% of the island.

Cruz Bay, the largest town on St. John, is an invigorating 10 minute walk from Mango Mojo. We love the walk to and from town, and often are sharing the quiet streets with peacocks, iguanas and goats.  It is a hilly walk and we are located at the top of a hill, so we do recommend taking a safari taxi if you prefer not to drive or walk. Enjoy a wide range of shopping, dining and nightlife options, or jump on a charter boat for world class diving, snorkeling, fishing, and touring the neighboring British Virgin Islands.

Beautiful view! Photos 100% accurate. So many spices, oil, cooking supplies provided. Parking was very difficult. My wife needed help not to fall down getting out of the car. We are elderly but sons each took an arm to assist. Damaged car trying to get into the lower parking spot. Then needed assistance as it would go on 3 wheels trying to get out

Our first St John vacation
This was our first vacation on St John. I’ve been to the USVI and BVI many times. This was excellent and would stay here again for a few reasons. We have 2 college aged kids, and one is married (5 of us). Our family enjoys snorkeling, fishing, and hiking. The condo was perfect for us. Kitchen was well equipped. Beach towels, chairs, blue ice, cooler bags, & grill are great features we utilized. We ate breakfast at the condo and packed a lunch. We walked to dinners at the Beach Bar, Longboard, Cruz Bay Landing and Woody’s (we gave them our catch from our fishing trip). All very good and would recommend. We had 2 planned outtings (recommended by the host), The Bad Kitty (Best of BVI) and fishing with Just Fish. I highly recommend both. Book the fishing trip early, then you can eat it throughout the week. We also brought our catch to Woodys and they prepared it for us. We caught Mahi, wahoo, Tuna, barracuda, and a sailfish. We hiked Reef Bay Trail. Lots to see, trail was cool and covered, hermit crabs by the hundreds at the bottom. We snorkeled at Maho, Hawksnest, and Cinnamon. All excellent - saw turtles, tarpon, rays. A couple other suggestions- rent a jeep. It was about 530 for the week. We rented at National by STT. We stopped and Cost U Less for groceries. We ordered in advance and picked it up. Way better than waiting in line.

We've stayed here several times. The location is perfect, the view is outstanding, the condo is appointed with all amenities you could need. Taking a walk each morning to say hello to the muster of peacocks passing in the streets is a treat!

Pretty perfect!
Our family came back to St. John to snorkel again. While we had stayed in very nice rental houses a 10-minute drive from Cruz Bay in the past, we wanted to be closer to town. Indeed, we walked to dinner and/or lunch almost every day—there is a steep hill coming back up— the younger folk zipped up it and the older folk just took it a little more slowly. It was an enjoyable way to finish off a meal. The condo itself was nicer than both houses we’d previously stayed in with a very comfortable, spacious flow to the general living spaces, plus a well-appointed kitchen and generous bedrooms and baths. We appreciated being met at the car rental place so we could follow the woman to the condo. She filled us in and answered questions, too. The pool was quiet and enjoyable, the balconies sublime. Stunning views, perfect location!
We will stay here again if it is available - loved the views, and the condo had everything that we needed! It is located on a very steep hill, and pulling into and out of the parking can be a little challenging, but it only takes a few minutes to walk into town. Stayed with 3 couples total. The property manager was very helpful getting us checked in and oriented with cab contacts, etc. The property was clean. The beach chairs were in good condition. The cooler was large enough for anything we wanted to haul. The view was great. Some people may not enjoy the roosters or steep hill, but we didn’t mind.

This VRBO location is exactly as described. It’s perfect for 3 couples (or a family), the rooms are spacious, huge living and kitchen area, the terrace and views are amazing! The recommendation of a taxi person, Ricky was the best! We appreciated the recommendation to use Crown Bay ferry AND the complimentary pickup to the condo when we arrived to St. John. We can not think of anything constructive to add! We loved St. John and hope to come back some day! You’ll get in shape if you walk up the steep steep hills!! Not just one! ;)

Spent 8 days with our adult kids and spouses. The condo was perfectly outfitted with everything you could imagine. Gorgeous sunrise and sunset views. 10 minute walk into Cruz Bay…mega hills!!! We decided it helped us earn our Pain Killers at the Beach Bar. Would definitely recommend.

Surprise Birthday Get A Way
We had a great time staying at Mango Mojo. The unit was perfect for us. Perfect amount of space. The kitchen and house is well stocked. Nicely decorated, comfortable beds, very clean. Only thing i would do at this time is replace some of the beach chairs. If you are planning to go to the beach every day like we did then definitely rent a car. You get incredible views since you are up on a hill. If you are not physically fit, like myself its a challenge walking down to town. My advice, find a cab driver who you can call to take you up and down to town. I would definitely plan to stay here again!!

Fantastic St John Accomodations/Experience
100% great experience. Accomodations are amazing! Expansive; comfortable; clean; tastefully decorated; equipped with all one could need; amazing view! Within walking distance of Cruz bay downtown restaurants, bars, shops (the hike up & down hills to downtown are definitely not for the faint of heart…just being honest!). Would highly recommend this place!

A little piece of paradise
This villa is beautiful. It’s so spacious and was perfect for the three of us. Plenty of space and beautiful views! I would say for anyone that has any issues with mobility you’re definitely going to need a car and be comfortable driving steep hills. The area has a lot of hills we rented a car for two days and the rest of the time walked Hill Street to get to and from the downtown area. It is a pretty strenuous walk but fairly short. We actually liked it but it was tough at times and deterred us from going back-and-forth into town more than once a day. The host was incredible and so accommodating. I would definitely highly recommend staying here and just find a way up that works for you up and down that hill. It’s worth it.
